What a great adventure! Worth every penny, had a fantastic time learning about manatees, a short boat ride and swimming with these gentle creatures, affectionately referred to as sea cows!

After an information session on the FWC rules around manatee tourism and conservation, Captain Ray and tour guide Trey took us in to the spring fed waters of Crystal Springs and showed us manatees. We also got to see one of the springs that fed the area and enjoyed swimming in the fresh water. Wet suits, pool noodles, and snorkeling gear are all provided. Bring a change of dry clothing and a towel, and that's all you need - this professional team takes care of the rest. Oh, don't forget sunblock. You'll need to be there an hour earlier than your session, but that's explained in the email you get when you sign up. Be sure to bring money to tip your crew, they're working hard to make sure you have a fun time like we did. The kids LOVE IT and the adults turned in to kids!

My husband surprised me with this tour for my birthday. It is advertised as a 4.5 hr tour. It is not. We arrived at noon. There was 45 minutes of forms, short video, and wetsuit fitting (in a non air conditioned room). After that we WALKED 10 minutes in our wetsuits carrying our water bottles and snacks to the dock (they really need to invest in a golf cart). There were 3 boats scheduled to go out at 1:00. Our boat was late getting in so we were last to go out after 1:00. We swam with one manatee in a murky crowded narrow canal. Leaving the canal we saw the other 2 boats in a wide open clear area where everyone was snorkeling with manatees. I assumed we were headed there. Nope. We went back to dock at 3:00. So...a 4.5 tour was 3 hours. My family had driven 2 hours to join us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR. Fortunately, we rented our own pontoon the day before at Homosassa River and saw at least 5 manatees in the crystal clear...

This place is horrible, I remember in June, i was visiting Crystal River and had wanted to do a manatee touring so i decided to do it with Majestic Manatee Tours. However when I walked into the Store, there was nobody there to attend me. I decided to sit on the nice white couch they had in the place, I'm not gonna lie, it was very comfortable; ANYWAYS, I was sitting on the comfy couch for about 20 minutes and no one ever showed up. Even that, I was looking around and they had the place not very organized; Starting by they had a credit card laying on the table!
