Hi there, this is the most cleanest thrift store i have ever visited..!!! The bathroom if allowed to the public would be nice... All stuff are nicelyshelved and i love your kitchen area utensils.. i was looking for the grilled spatula and located in an instant... your alloccasion cards are very cheap but nicely stacked... Very affordable and i brought a bunchful to store for family occasion... Compared to savers and good will thrift stores I just have to say your smaller store is more compact and easy to locate things.. Just one comment about sign of warning those who have 'bad intentions'.. To tell the customer that you will zoom in camera to identify 'shoplifter' is kind of a 'sad' warning to me... Obviously when we enter a store we purchase our items and let others do the same.. If you recognize those 'bad customers' from camera than just ask them to leave... The older volunteers workers are great.. very helpful when approached and the parking is ample... Keep up the good work and have wonderful selections for us to shop and let all customers feel 'welcome' and not being looked at as 'potential criminal'.. I advertised your store to friends and students with lower income bracket and my visit to your store always 'delightful'......
Read moreThis is the best thrift store I've probably ever been in. Since it's located within a few minutes' drive from some pretty affluent neighborhoods, you often find clothing that has hardly been worn, is in tip-top shape, and bears some very good labels. For example, I bought a Lands End winter coat there for $9.95! I'm sure it was well over $100 when it was new. We've also picked up a new Oster bread machine -- I don't think it had ever been used because the cord was still wrapped in plastic -- for a princely $16. Who can beat it? And although we didn't have the space for it, recently we saw a 42" round oak table -- 1920s vintage or thereabouts -- that was in perfect shape, yet they were selling it for $99.95!!!! In any actual antique shop, you would pay a minimum of $500 for it. They even had oak, press-back chairs on sale for ten bucks, each of which would have gone for well over a hundred in an antique shop. Anyway, it's a great shop with great bargains and a great staff, who are always helpful. My wife and I can't praise it enough. (And it's only three blocks from where we...
Read moreDO NOT USE THEIR DELIVERY. They have no idea how it works. I purchased items on Thursday. It was my understanding they would be delivered the next day, Friday. Incorrect. I called on Saturday and they told me they only deliver on Monday and Wednesday; this would have been nice to know when I purchased the items. That person said I could get refunded (maybe) for the delivery or maybe I could get store credit. Called on Monday; I could not get a refund. Called on Tuesday; they still don't know anything about my delivery but I could keep calling and get a refund. I don't even want these items any more, but I would like my $105 back that I apparently wasted on items I will never get.
UPDATE: After a few more phone calls, the furniture arrived. Maybe create a delivery info sheet so all volunteers...
