Hy-Vee Market Grille Express — Restaurant in Robbinsdale

This supermarket is AMAZING. So they have many products most importantly many high end and then some huge value private label. The staff and service is so professional and every staff member goes out of their way to get whatever you need or help you with your shopping experience. I noticed an Asian American young man went to get a cart for a couple who had chosen to carry 2 baskets but then baskets got full (maybe like myself, they found too many good deals!) I saw that and got the feel good feeling when someone cares that much on the job.

The food kitchen is amazing with tons of variety food Italian to Asian and American and on top with great flat screens. WELL DONE HY-VEE!

The last time I ordered food for pick up I ordered a bit ahead for a 5:05-5:15 pickup time. I got a text update saying my food would be ready 5:15 to 5:25. Okay, things can get busy. Understandable. Next update says my food will be ready 5:25 to 5:30. Okay I guess. Next update I get around 4:55 saying my food is now ready. I wasn't anywhere near on my way and had already planned some chores to take care of in the mean time but instead had to drop everything because of the very inconsistent time updates.

The food is ok, when you can actually get it. Despite the hours for this part of the store supposedly being until 9, they shut down the kitchen where they make the burgers and chicken sandwiches at about 7:45. They can’t even wait until a time that’s on the hour? So if you’re getting groceries here, don’t expect to be able to get a burger dinner to-go when you’re done.
