Rent-A-Center — Local services in Cullman

Like another girl said on here if I could give zero stars I would I purchased an item 2 years ago and only owed 150 out of 2200 I had 3 surgery this year and was struggling to get by. My payment in the beginning of june did not go through I called and told them I would pay them off on the 1st but it could be the 28th because I only owe 150 out of 2200 they said that was fine the called every day for 4 days I told them the same thing I would pay the 150 on the first the fifth day hey called again I became frustrated and told him I had talked to 3 other people who said it would be fine he said absolutely not. HE said he would have to pick up the item if I didn't pay before then in a very threatening tone of voice mine you I have been paying for 2 years now they want to take it back and rip me off they should have worked with me considering it's not even supposed to be payed off till August but he was very rude and I told him I would try and get some money before than and let him know my godmother gave me a hundred dollars so I could keep my water and lights on till Monday and I paid my water and tried to put the 60 dollars I had left on electric rent a center took a regular payment out of my account and said it was for the 28th which is not even a payment date for me now I had only 9 dollars for electric so I will be without power for a week in this heat with my elderly father and 5 year old grandson ty rent a center never had a problem line this at Aaron's now I know why their parking lot and store are empty never will I get an item...

My oldest son purposely burned our home ,everything we owned including all photos of my daughter Ashley who was killed 2.05.2005 And our 3 beloved cats . I'd bought my youngest a ps5 for Christmas last year and had close to 3000.00 in it . I used rent a center to get him one just til I get my income tax and will purchase another one Well I was supposed to get the first week free is what I was told over the phone . My youngest son actually went in to the store got it I'm his name and everything I was told was bs. They went ahead and charged my card for 2 weeks no discount no free week. My son understood that would cover a month counting the free week Well not hardly I called the store and one of the rudest ppl spoke to me in such a disrespectful way as if I were trying to rob them lol wth ... I emailed them and ask that they pick up there high priced ps5 when we get back in town after Thanksgiving Did you know they are still calling and calling . I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND RENT A CENTER CULLMAN Disrespectful ,liars ,harassing our family . They are just not a good group...

Lost a good customer today all because they wouldn’t wait 4 more days on a payment. I had came in not even a month ago and they weren’t very nice, I’d make a joke about something to try and lighten the mood but the guy literally just stood there (should’ve been my sign but yk) I had a payment due Friday the 21st for RAC and I had called and asked if I could make the payment this Friday on the 28th because I had changed jobs and all the guy had to say was “I need a payment today” and was being extremely unprofessional,rude, and unreasonable. Will never recommend this place to anyone who’s young and trying to build their credit. Ever. Guys I was about to pay over $1,000 for an Xbox series x and yet you can get online and find one for $400 or less. Don’t go here unless you won’t ever never ever be late on a payment and you’re willing to accept harassment type of phone calls from rude pickup drivers...
