I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the towing services provided by All City Tow, specifically regarding a recent incident involving my BMW. My experience has compelled me to share my concerns not only with you but also to raise awareness about the associations between All City Tow and businesses in our community, including Regency Centers and the Whole Foods Market located at 3rd St and Fairfax.
On Sunday August 3rd 2025 my vehicle was towed by All City Tow while parked near the Whole Foods Market. Upon retrieval of my car, I discovered multiple issues that have caused me significant distress. Firstly, the sensors in my BMW were reset during the towing process, which not only disrupted my vehicle's advanced systems but also caused me a considerable amount of inconvenience as I had to deal with the consequences following the towing. Most importantly, I found a noticeable scratch on my front passenger rocker panel, which I believe occurred due to the careless manner in which my vehicle was handled during the towing process.
What adds to my frustration is the understanding that All City Tow is contracted to provide towing services at the Whole Foods Market and other surrounding properties. Despite the presence of a highly trafficked shopping center, it is disconcerting to think that a towing company with such a poor track record and questionable practices is given the responsibility of managing parking for customers and employees alike. It appears that there is a systemic issue regarding the enforcement of towing policies at these locations.
I was informed by several employees at the Whole Foods Market, including Lucy, a front-end supervisor, that both employees and customers have experienced similar issues. Lucy revealed that her team members often do not have valid employee permits and have, in fact, been towed while on duty. This has raised serious concerns about the effectiveness of the towing enforcement and the overall management of the parking situation. It is troubling to think that both Regency Centers and Whole Foods Market would continue to support such a company that seemingly takes advantage of customers and employees without regard for their rights.
I sincerely believe that both Regency Centers and Whole Foods Market must re-evaluate their partnership with All City Tow. Allowing such unprofessional practices reflects poorly on the businesses involved and can potentially alienate loyal customers who wish to enjoy the services and products provided in the area.
I kindly urge you to not only address the issues I experienced but also to take a closer look into the operational practices of All City Tow. Better oversight of their conduct would undoubtedly benefit both customers and staff who frequent the Whole Foods Market and the surrounding...
Read moreGeico is my insurance company and they use All City Tow. OMG!! Seems they used to be better but lately - awful! Called for a flat bed truck like they've always provided in the past for my sports model Volvo. Guy showed up with a hook style tow, that is after he got his lunch from across the street while I sat wondering why his truck parked behind my car had no driver in it! Then he argued with me that there is no need to use a flat bed for my Volvo. (my mechanic warned me to never allow other than a flat bed tow job) They did not provide a flat bed so I had a very anxious experience but fortunately my car was not damaged. More recently I called for a tow on my other car, an old VW bus. My mechanic at German Auto Care told me to have it towed from the rear. The tow truck driver argued with me, saying my mechanic knows nothing since he's not a tow truck driver. This went on and on. I called the company and told them the driver was refusing to hook up my car from the rear. The guy asked to speak to the tow truck driver so I held out my cell phone to him. He refused to take the phone but stomped away and got into his truck. I thought he was going to leave me stranded. The guy on the phone said, "I'll call him on his phone" which he did do. The tow truck guy (Arturo) got out of his truck glaring at me and said, "I don't need NOTHIN'" whatever that was supposed to mean. I got into the passenger seat, he hooked up my van properly and we rode in silence to German Auto Care. Once there he said, "Is a mechanic going to drive your car in?" I said I didn't know and went in to ask. I turned around to discover that Arturo had unhooked my car, leaving it in traffic, in the single westbound lane blocking traffic, and he'd left! I would not recommend this towing company to my worst enemy. If your insurance company tries to send All City Tow, tell them to find someone else. These guys are not what they used to be and that's putting...
Read moreREAD IF YOU PLAN TO PICK YOUR VEHICLE UP IN THE EVENING TIME As I pull up to pick up my other car from a parking lot, a driver (apparently a different one) was in his truck & said they had JUST taken my car to their impound. This was 10:15 AM. I called their office to ask if I picked it up ASAP would it be less, since it just arrived. The office CLRARLY LIED & said my car arrived at 9AM & it wouldn't matter the time since I was being charged for their 1-day storage rate regardless! I go there at 5:30pm ONLY to find out the time was considered AFTERHOURS, which they charge an EXTRA $160!! (or something crazy like that) Now, the ONLY REASON FOR MY RATING is due to the guy working in their office, at 5:30pm. His name was HECTOR & he gave me the best advice & saved me over $200!! He did my paperwork, so it was ready to be paid & informed me that if I waited until morning, when they opened at 8:00AM, that I wouldn't have to pay their 'AFTERHOURS' fee!! He confirmed that my car arrived at 10:30AM (I figured as much) & said if I came between opening (8AM) & 10:30AM, that I would only be charged the 1-day storage that was ALREADY applied! That is exactly what I did & my 1-day rate was honored, as he assured me. My 2 stars are for HECTOR, the ONLY decent employee I've ever encountered who seems to UNDERSTAND what they do is just as criminal, IF NOT WORSE, than a HOME INVADOR, a BURGULAR or a THEIF! The rest of their company, I hope u feel good at night knowing how much DAMAGE you do with what you call...
