Aldi is a wonderful place to shop. Each store is layed out Identical and their is a wide selection to choose from. I personally have been shopping there for years before this Chain has become mainstream. By that I mean it is no longer perceived as a store where only lower income people shop or those who recieve food stamps. That having been said the quality and selection of the items are extremely good. Most items are 50% less than in your local Supermarket. I have done comparasion shopping and Aldi's prices simply can't be be beat hĂ nds down. It's like getting 2 for 1 like Cereal for instance . A box of Cereal in Aldi $1.79 a box at Giant or Redmers $4.00-5.00 on average. Their are only 1 or 2 Manufactures of Cereal here in USA so it has to come from their anyway. No difference. As far as the quality it is the same as or better than "name" brands. Aldi only carries their own store brands. So if you want name brands we'll go to your local Supermarket and pay 1-1 /2 times more per item. That's really about it. The stores are open 7 days per week but only till 7pm during the week and 3-4 pm Sat and Sundays. Have fun saving money and you will have enough to go out on the town or movies a couple extra times a...
Read moreLove that you have to "rent" a cart with a quarter that you get back once you lock your cart back up onto to other carts at the end of your trip. There are a lot less carts taking up parking spaces (or just in the way) unlike other grocery stores. Also, they help reduce waste by charging for plastic bags and you can always reuse the cardboard boxes from their stock if you forget to bring bags or receptacles to put your groceries into. They have a reliable quality to their food and are always getting in "limited time" foods that are fun to try. Prices are great and I will continue to shop with Aldi. Have stopped shopping at other grocery stores unless absolutely necessary. Oh and don't forget the non-food items that can be very useful although you didn't go grocery shopping for it. Cost effective and not a huge store to shop. Very short wait times in line as cashiers don't bag...
Read moreThis store is easy to reach, there is ample parking the quality of the foods is consistent, and the service is always efficient and courteous. Like "Trader Joes", some of the inventory changes. There are weekly specials on "gadgets" that rotate throughout the year. If you miss it on the week offered, you may have to wait a year until it comes around again, but the weekly specials offer the most value and probably account for getting customers to return week after week. You will have to either bring your own shopping bags or pay for each bag you add to your order. While the price of the shopping bags is low, the fact you pay for them acts as an incentive to conserve and recycle. You may have to visit another supermarket to complete your weekly shopping list; if so, there is a Redners market about...
