This place should definitely be your new salon! I love it here, and they make me feel so pretty, like I’m wearing their art all around 🥹. I’ve been going since about when they first opened and have got to meet so many wonderful, talented, intelligent, and skilled people. They also taught me so much, so I can get dolled up at home too 🥰.
To help you pick your new stylist, I could probably have something to say about almost everyone that works there; they’ve all helped me so much:
Sam styles my hair 🥹. I trust her completely to do whatever she thinks will look best. She takes all the thought process out of the equation for me, and I feel completely taken care of. She’s also super intelligent; I enjoy listening in on the tidbits I hear on the fly of her mentoring the people around her. She is definitely top of my list of women that inspire me.
Michelle is a top tier esthetician. Go see her for a facial (and thank me later 😉). She helped me create a skin care routine and problem solved as we went. I used to struggle a lot with breakouts, so much so that I would never wear makeup. Now I do so many fun looks (again- shoutout to Michelle for teaching me that, too!), that I have my own collection. I also, of course, love our conversations; she’s so clever and witty.
Angelina has recently been helping Sam with my hair during my appointments, again making me feel very well take care of. On top of the art she does with my hair, I have found all the product recommendations and tips she has given to be super helpful. She definitely has my full trust on things to try at home to have wonderful hair.
David taught me how to curl my hair with a curling iron at one of the Vivo events this year. Literally, before our conversation, I felt like my hands were being so stupid and would not cooperate at all (and YouTube was not helping; I felt doomed). In no time at all, he made it so I was so comfortable using it. And it was such a fun time learning, too. He is good energy 😄.
Kayley is a very skillful nail artist. I get so many compliments on my nails when I get nail art from her. Again, it makes me feel so pretty, so thank you!!! I also appreciated getting my nails done from Audrianna, Alana, and Lauren. It’s fun sitting at the nail bar and chatting with all of you. I saw some nail art that Audrianna did yesterday for someone else, and that was super cute, too!
Emily taught me how to use a wand to curl my hair a few years ago. I’m super grateful for that. It’s been my go-to going out look ever since!
Allison had an opening last year to curl my hair for an event. Turned out super cute! But also, she cuts my husband hair. It’s like she’s adding extra ✨sparkle ✨ to my eye candy, handsome husband 😉🤣. I’m super grateful for his very well styled hair ☺️.
Alana has also helped Sam with my hair. I feel like she has learned so many of the different services at Vivo very quickly over the years. A lot of talent, passion, and skill there - you won’t go wrong booking with her!
I also want to mention Amanda and Lauren (again) - I feel so welcomed every time I either come in to Vivo or call in. ☺️ also, Lucca is the best greeter, too 🐶 and deserves...
Read moreI called to schedule a consultation to have ‘mobile hair and makeup’ for my wedding. From my understanding of their website my consultation was complimentary, and as I took that it meant a conversation with the makeup artist and hair stylist. When I went in for my appointment I met with the makeup artist first, who immediately started doing my makeup. At this point I just assumed I was unclear about what I booked my appointment for but more than likely I had made the mistake and just went with it. The girl who did my trial makeup was amazing. Let me point out how ever that the whole time the conversation was about my wedding and the dates and times, so I’m thinking things are going good. Then I meet with the hairstylist, who was also super nice and absolutely wonderful, except the fact that she used the Bobby pins I had in my hair at work all day and were probably stretched from multiple uses......I paid $137.00 to have a hair and makeup tutorial, and I left there with the understanding that when I returned two weeks later for a facial (recommended by the make up artist) and to get my hair cut and foiled (which, I needed it, no denying) I would pay my deposit and be booked. So I returned for my appointment, the girls who handled my facial and hair were amazing, but I feel I perhaps was lead on or mislead. When I finished my appointment that day I sat and spoke with the girl who handles their bridal bookings, we talked about my date, times, and etc. When they told me my total it was more than I was expecting, and I had called them earlier that day to ask for what I was looking at that day (and I never include tip in what my total is) it was $50 more than what I had been told earlier. Regardless, I paid.
I called to finish paying my deposit. I was told that they were booked fully for that day since four weeks ago. I then stated that I had been in there the week before and spoke with the hair, make up, and bridal consultant, twice.
I was then told, “I’m the one who deals with bridal bookings, and I must have heard the wrong date when we were talking. I’m sorry about that.”
Are you kidding me???!!
Do not book, it seems to me they like making money of trials then making themselves seem so desirable they...
Read moreI am not a fussy man, and prior to my marriage, I gave very little thought into my own personal appearance. "Whatever" was the daily routine. Not any more.
I started to get my hair trimmed by Allison a few years ago, followed by Aubree. Both did an amazing job of freshening up my look. I looked respectable, clean. Hell, even fashionable at times.
Then, I met David. THE STAR.
From the moment that I met David, I knew the top of my head would never be the same.
I can only imagine what the roughly hewn block of stone felt like in 1500 when Michelangelo could see the divine vision of Madonna della Pietà in the Carrara marble. David's attention to every detail, mood, and movement of my follicles displayed masterful skill, artistic vision, and performative excellence.
To sit in David's chair for an hour is to be the most important person in the world. An ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, and such comfort and security in his capable hands.
When I leave Vivo after a session with David, other men want to be me. My wife cant keep her eyes off my immaculate 'do. My enemies cower in terror at my perfectly quaffed mullet. David Bowie and Rod Stewart built a time machine to travel to 2025 from the 1970's to study my mullet's perfect form. I was recently contacted by Busch Light and asked to be the new face of the company (I politely declined, but it was a nice gesture anyhow).
David is business in the front, party in the back. He is also party in the front, business in the back. He seamlessly blurs the line of art and engineering, bed-side-manner and clinical diagnosis. The haircut I got from him back in February of 2025 landed my a massive promotion at work and a boost in confidence I can only imagine most people receive after after winning the Olympics.
For as long as I grow hair from my head, I will trust it with David. For as long as I draw breath in this mortal coil, I will praise David.
