Iāve been coming to this Aldi for about two months now and Iāve never had any problems until today. First, the shopping carts outside all had locked wheels and could barely move. Luckily, a kind customer let me take hers. I was shopping with two toddlers when one needed to use the restroom. I quickly went to the front, carrying one child, both of them being loud as toddlers are. I opened the bathroom door and saw an employee on the toilet. She yelling at me, āI said Iām in here,ā and mumbled some more words the door closed. Iām guessing the lock doesnāt work. It wasnāt a huge deal, but when she came out, she clearly looked upset and didnāt say anything about the situation. She just went straight back to the register.
When I went into the restroom, the lock actually worked, so Iām not sure what that was about. Honestly, it was laughable. If you are an employee, leave your misery at home.
She was the only cashier available, so I ended up in her line. Her name is Dianne. As she began scanning, the total started at around $163 after less than ten items. I pointed it out, and she voided something, but the numbers still seemed off. I decided to wait until the transaction was finished, then added up the items on my receipt. The total still did not match.
When I told her, she insisted it was correct and brought it to the manager, a Hispanic woman. The manager quickly looked at it and said it was fine without actually listening to what I was explaining or checking further. This is ridiculous because I genuinely liked coming to this location, but if this is how they handle a problem, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Terrible attitude, poor customer service, and lack of attention to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday, I had one of the worst experiences shopping at Aldi. Iād said before that I was going to stop shopping there, because they wait until the line is extremely long before they ring for help. The manager and the staff are rude. I was in line and I witnessed people jump in front of an elderly lady. So, the lady got in the same line as me. The manager told the cashier in my line to go on break after she checked out the lady immediately behind and he told the elderly lady that she had to go to the end of the other line. Mind you , the lady had about five items. I told the cashier what happened and they didnāt have to be rude to the lady. Then, the cashier became upset and she started yelling at me. She and I had an exchange and she told me that she could talk to me however she wanted. Howās that for customer service? The manager watched the whole scene play out and he never intervened. When companies donāt value me, I donāt patronize them. I rather pay more for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location has the rudest employees. I was in line with black female employee who usually has a mean look in her face and never greets. I just had one item and a new cashier opened and called the lady behind me with a basket full of stuff. I went over hoping sheād be faster but then the original cashier immediately put a closed sign and was looking at me clearly seeing I had only one item and I asked her since she was done could she check me out and she rudely said no she was closed. I said I was already in her line but went over to the new check out line and she said āi probably didnāt see youā. Then after a little back and forth she finally agreed to ring me up, then another man got in line at the other check out and this same lady that was rude to me nicely called him over to ring him up since he only had one item. Isnāt that something? I donāt understand how she picks and chooses who sheās nice to. How is she still working there with those poor customer...
