They were great in the beginning but to no surprise quickly proved they were no different from any of the other nail salons who could care less about providing a quality service. I spent over $100 for a classic mani/pedi with gel polish. The polish started peeling in a whole strip off my nails within 10 days of getting the service done. Of course I called to see if o could come back to get this fixed. They tell me yes and to come in. I drove from Fort Worth. When I arrived they were extremely reluctant to fix my nails despite telling me to come in. They chastised me while repeating their 7 day policy on the menu. You could clearly see that the polish coming off was not due to chipping or any wearing. Either the polish was no good to begin with or the curing process was not properly done. The fact that they didnāt want to fix 2 nails because dogmatically clinging to their āpolicyā was more important than making it right after a customer dropped over 100 bucks for regular nails no fake nails put on or anything extra. But it was that big of a deal for them to not fix it when clearly this was an issue of quality. This says all I need to know to just be done with nail salons forever. Iām going to Sallyās and will do my own nails from now on. These people never deserved any of my money. Do not be fooled. The nice Hispanic man offering drinks is not the manager. Heās just the face to bring in business and make people feel comfortable assuming heās in charge. This salon is no different than any other Asian nail salon. You pay over 100 bucks for a service thatās rushed through in 10 minutes and youāll be back in the chair within 7-10 days. You pay $20 extra for Gel thatās supposed to last longer but the regular polish would have still been on my fingers. Stop stuffing cash into the garbage disposal and start doing your own manicures/ pedicures. 1 month of no nail salons can equate to 4 months vacation in Europe. Stop giving these people your money. Rude is no longer cute, funny or just a cultural quirk. Stop supporting Asian owned...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBoo...hiss...boo, I'm honestly so freaking torn when it comes to writing this review. My first visit to the salon was on 03/13/2023 and it was fantastic. My nails were done by Eva and were so freaking adorable, I honestly thought I had found my new nail salon. I received a dip French ombre, one nail broke and I went back in the next day and it was quickly repaired for free.
Came back on 03/28/2023 and it was such a different experience. I made an appointment via their online portal with Eva and when I walked in was given to a Ky who proceeded to tell me that you can't fill dip/nexgen nails and I would have to soak them off and do a full set. Even though I've had my nails filled hundreds of times before, I went okay and proceeded to have them soaked. The straw that broke my back was I specifically stated that I want the EXACT same color on my nails as I currently have. He proceeded to ask me 4+ times what color I wanted, I showed him a picture of how my nails looked on the 13th and he still wasn't getting it. I then told him that maybe he should ask Eva for guidance as she had done my nails previously and she maybe able to tell him the color. Instead of explaining it for the 5th time I just opted to leave.
How the heck do I make an appointment with a provider and then not be told what's happening when I turn up for my appointment. How can you not fill my nails when it happens all the time. And on top of that how can you look at a picture and not be able to figure out color choices?
I called the salon and spoke with a manager before leaving this review because I wanted to understand what happened Instead I was basically told that the system that sent me a text confirmation had lost my appointment, and that I can come back in on Thursday and receive my service.
**UPDATE 03/30/2023- Was personally called by Eva and was asked to come back in. Service was once again phenomenal, and I could truly tell they felt bad for my experience. They walked me to my car after the service and truly went above and beyond to make sure I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe place is nice, but my GEL French manicure didn't hold for even a day! I had the mani-pedi done on Monday, November 6, 2023, in the afternoon.
FIRST THE MANICURE: Since I was getting a pedicure, they did my manicure while I was getting the pedicure in the massage chair. He sat on my left side to do both hands. That meant my right hand had to be stretched across my body in order for him to reach my right hand. NOT RELAXING! It so happens all my problems were with my right hand. I don't know if that factored into the problem or not. I requested a gel french manicure, which the gel is supposed to last 21 days, and it didn't even last one full day. First, my thumb peeled off the very next day, (picture of the bubble on my thumb but its hard to see) and then over the course of a week, each finger on my right hand started peeling. Oh, and I was out of town at a lake house 2 hours away - literally just sitting on the porch watching the lake not doing anything. When I got back in town, I went to Cosmo to see if they would redo my hand. I spent $122 plus a tip for gel, which is supposed to last 21 days. When I got back to Cosmo, it had been 9 days. I explained I had been out of town - they told me sorry it's been more than 7 days. When I explained again what happened, the owner told me I should have called. How was she supposed to believe me? Seriously? They offered a 10% discount on another manicure to redo their first bad job. I said no, and I'd find another place. SO VERY ANGRY!
NOW THE PEDICURE: THE polish on my pedicure has held up. It's also gel. Service provided November 6, 2023, and as of today's date, no chips, etc. The person who did my toes spent the entire time on her phone via earbuds. When I tried to ask her questions or point out certain requests, like a callus or cutting my nail shorter, she waved me away, saying yes, yes, but it didn't get taken care of. Overall, the best thing about this place is the free glass of wine.
