I visited this clinic after losing my voice completely for over a month. I took a full day off work and drove 25 minutes just to get there, hoping for some answers and relief.

The doctor looked at my throat for only a few seconds, said “everything looks fine,” and immediately suggested a to come back again and. However, they hadn’t even tried to get a pre-authorization from my insurance ahead of time — something that should’ve been arranged before my appointment. So they can check nothing for my appointment.

Because of that, they told me they couldn’t do anything and that I’d have to come back another time. I asked them sincerely if they could please just take another quick look or do anything to help since I was truly feeling awful, but they flat-out refused and insisted I schedule a second visit instead.

The entire appointment lasted just a few minutes. Nothing was done to help, no temporary relief offered, no treatment advice given. I left feeling unheard, dismissed, and frustrated that I had wasted my time, energy, and a full day off for absolutely nothing.

They didn’t even give me a diagnosis or acknowledgment form when I walked out until I walk back to ask for it.

I recently consulted with Dr Linda Burke, MD ophthalmologist, for cataract surgery at Dallas Eye and Ear at 1703 Beckley Ave, Dallas 75231. I had an outstanding experience with her. After a thorough exam, Dr Burke explained the procedure to me in detail, so I had a good understanding about what would be involved. She operated on my right eye and then two weeks later on my left. The surgery was painless and went exactly as she had explained to me. She fixed my right eye so I could clearly see things at a distance without any glasses. Two weeks later she fixed my left eye so I could easily read texts without having to use reading glasses. The result was amazing. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the surgeries, and I highly recommend Dr Burke to anyone contemplating cataract surgery. I am extremely happy with my results, and I'm grateful to Dr Burke for her excellent care. (PS -- I've noticed some negative reviews of the office personnel at Dallas Eye and Ear. I've now interacted with multiple staff members there, and they have all been very helpful each time I visit. I have not experienced any problem whatsoever...
