Kristin Marquardt - State Farm Insurance Agent — Local services in Dallas

We are long term customers and I used to find this agent excellent, but we have had a number of problems with them doing stupid things. In mid-July I instructed our agent not to access our home escrow for renewal until someone sent us a copy of our home policy. Today, August 12 we still have no policy, but despite my clear instruction, they have removed the escrow funds nearly 3 weeks before renewal is to occur. One of many problems in accountability. The cost of this home policy has risen more than 30% in the past 3 years although we have had no claims. In addition in mid-July I was told our recreational vehicle policy was charged to our card and paid in full. Since that time, I have received 3 separate bills demanding payment, and the policy shows as owing on the SF website--mid August. I'm also having trouble getting my policies from them--they seem to think a declarations page is a policy even though I have sent them an email explaining that I do not want...

This is one agent I would not go to. They are like snakes. They will smile in your face to get your money then when they don't do what they are supposed to do they get snappy with you. The wife is suppose to be the agent but her husband calls the shots. Not professional at all. The people who gave it 5 stars must be on there payroll. If you get disabled you apply to not have to pay premiums on life insurance policy's. They knew nothing about this. They can tell you how to spend your money but they wont tell you how to save it. She is honest, listens, and most of all, calls back with an answer.

Maybe not the answer you want but cares enough to call back.

In my case, she did her due diligence and voiced and had my back.

Otherwise, my insurance policy would have been canceled due to the other office staff not giving a crap about my ongoing issue with the rising cost of my insurance premiums.
