DONT TRUST THIS BUSINESS ‼️ I went to MySaMedSpa 10 months ago ( December 3 , 2023 ) excited for my first lip filler experience, but it turned out to be a horrible one. My injector completely botched my lips. They injected the fillers incorrectly, leaving me with swollen, lumpy, and hard lips that persisted for weeks, despite following all the proper aftercare measures.

I returned a month later to address the issue, but the experience only got worse. Ryan, the injector and owner, made me wait over an hour for a consultation, which felt like an afterthought since it was free of charge. During the consultation, she dismissed my concerns, telling me my lips "didn’t look bad" despite the obvious issues I was facing. Even when I mentioned that friends with lip fillers had pointed out how off they looked, she gaslighted me, claiming they didn’t know what they were talking about. Ryan only attempted to fix one small area (my upper right lip where a lump was very noticeable), which did soften the lump slightly, but the problem was far from resolved.

What's worse is that when I first reached out almost 3 weeks after getting the fillers, even her assistant acknowledged that my lips looked "migrated," which was the same feedback I received from friends. However, knowing my situation—being only 1 month post-filler and this being my first time—migration wasn’t the issue. The problem was that Ryan injected my lips incorrectly from the start.

I also consulted with a couple of other injectors, and they all said my lips looked migrated. They were shocked to learn that my results came from just one syringe, especially for my first time. Most people thought I had multiple syringes done because of how bad and overfilled they looked.

It took 6 months to start seeing any improvement in the lumps, and after 8 months, my lips were still uneven and lumpy. I ended up DMing them recently to let them know the problem was still active, and at first, they replied as if they were going to help resolve the issue, but they ended up ignoring me. That’s when I made the decision to not go back and find a new medspa.

Thankfully, Kiss N Conceal in Dallas saved my confidence by dissolving the fillers properly. This experience with MysaMedSpa greatly affected my self-esteem, and I would never recommend them based on their poor service, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior.

**update / Ryan did provide a refund after this review , but her handling of the situation was disappointing. She refused to take accountability for the poor results of my lip filler, stating she wasn’t at fault which is shocking because after getting my lips refilled by another injector, the difference is very clear. Instead of owning her mistake, she seems more concerned with protecting her image and worrying about "competitors." The focus in the beauty and esthetics industry should be about women supporting women, not deflecting blame . This entire situation revolved around one mistake that she refuses to own up to. I visited MYSA 11/29/2025 after researching and being really impressed by their social media presence and the professionalism they display especially with the owner being a nurse. As a nurse and esthetician myself, I felt confident booking and even drove 45 minutes because I believed it would be worth it.

When I arrived, the facility was absolutely beautiful it truly screams luxury. From the décor to the overall ambiance, everything about the space made me excited for my service. The price point for the PCA peel was very fair, which made me even more eager to try it. However, the overall experience didn’t quite reflect the same level of luxury that the space conveys. When I walked in, the team was in conversation, and I wasn’t immediately greeted I believe first impressions matter, and a warm welcome can really set the tone for the entire visit.

My 50-minute PCA peel service lasted about 10–15 minutes total. There was no post-care discussion, and sunscreen wasn’t applied afterward, which was disappointing for a chemical peel service. The provider also seemed unsure about questions I had and couldn’t provide clarification.

I did reach out to the owner via email after my appointment to share my feedback directly. Since my service was just yesterday , I completely understand she may not have had the chance to review or respond yet. Following Ryan’s recommendations has transformed my skin—I’ve been receiving endless compliments, and my confidence has skyrocketed.
