It was our first time coming here, about 2 weeks after opening it wasn't too bad. We came here shortly after picking up my niece from her 1st day of school. The parking lot wasn't too bad and we actually found parking right away. We tried coming the weekend of opening and the parking lot for the whole plaza was bananas. We weren't able to find parking anywhere and decided to come back another time. Upon entering this place is huge. My niece and I were here for the food but I wanted to make sure we started on one side and work our way down. They had a lot of fresh fish to choose from and was reasonably priced. My dad picked his favorite pompano and bangus among other things. I kept going around the Bakers Avenue to look at all the delectable sweets. I went for the chocolate crinkles and ube halaya pan de sal. Both were so fresh and soft. All the aisles were fully stocked and there were so many items to choose from everywhere. By the time we got to the food hall, the place was slowly getting packed from everyone getting off of work and looking to purchase dinner. We went to Noodle Street first and got braised beef and wonton mami soup for my parents and they loved it. My niece and I had the sizzling burger steak from Sizzle that was amazing. All the food was made fresh to order so it takes a little while to wait for your food. It was a sight to see made right in front of you while you wait. I can't wait to come back soon and make this one of our regular...
Read moreIt was pretty much like any asian grocery store that you frequent to get your fix. I went there for specific things and I got them before I even checked out what the whole store is about. Check out could be better, but its their opening week. Let them clear out the bugs and they might get faster.
The SFC app is a total crap. Every time you log in, it needs to be updated. (Just getting it out there)
The grocery is fine. Filipino produce if youre looking, you got it.
The nitty gritty. The food stalls needs space. Its so tiny. Filipinos love to linger. That should have been part of the thought process when you provide eating spaces like this.
The Sizzle stall looks like a health inspectors nightmare. Please fix this set up.
Noodle Street looks good, but what is up with the noodle boiler? Get a bigger one. Its overflowing and that spill is a workplace hazard. You got “seasoned” folks working there. Please consider it. They can function better with better equipment and protects them from slipping.
Im coming back and will review again. For now 3 stars for the things that needs improvement.
Oh, please sell those baked goodies in smaller increments. I cannot eat 6 filled pandesal within a week. It will just spoil. Speaking for someone who lives by himself. The baked goods looks delicious. Can I also make a request? Please just make an UBE cake by itself. Not everyone...
Read moreThis is a newly opened filipino grocery market with a lil food court and bakery. It is super clean and bright inside with lots of great selections. They have a wide variety of filipino / asian snacks and drinks. Their food court has a grill city, sizzle, and a noodle street. We ordered the bulalo beef shank, the bangus sisg, the palabok, and the cucumber lemon juice from Sizzle. We also ordered bagnet kare kare, the asado bun, and the buko lychee drink from Noodle Street. My most favorites were the bulalo beef shank and the bagnet kare kare. I would definitely get these again and recommend these items. The palabok ended up being too salty due to the sauce. It also only came with only three pieces of shrimp. We were able to exchange it for another bangus sisig. The drinks from both places were only ok and I’d just skip them next time. The cucumber in the lemonade drink was overpowering and the lychee drink could do without the coconut taste. The asado bun was fine and tastes like any another asado bun. You can ask for a water cup at the counter as they have water jugs near the seating area. Parking is easy...
