I actually had no plans of visiting Kay’s today and felt very uncertain there. I’ve never been ring shopping and wasn’t even sure what style I wanted, but Kristtel (the store manager) was so patient and kind towards my needs. I told her immediately that I was on a budget and concerned with pricing. She reassured me that she has multiple rings on sale and informed me about the Memorial Day deals. I felt so well-taken care of, as she talked me through how the type of metal will affect my experience. She was VERY knowledgeable, compassionate, and did not at all pressure me to make a purchase (although I ultimately did).

I actually could not find my perfect ring so I had all intentions of leaving without buying but Kristtel helped me set up a profile so that next time the process can be more streamlined. She was so attentive to my needs and emotions, which tremendously helped in my decision making. She even helped me get a custom ring size as I was between sizes!

The staff is friendly and helpful, but never trust the guarantee they provide, and don't make a purchase. I bought a gold necklace with a lifetime guarantee. When I obtained this guarantee, the staff assured me that in case of any breakage or damage, there is a lifelong free repair guarantee, and if it breaks more than 3 times, there is a guarantee for replacement with a new one. A few months ago, when my necklace broke for the third time, I took it back, and when I mentioned the guarantee, the staff informed me that this guarantee is only valid after the third occurrence of damage. Guess what happened? My necklace broke again from the same place today, for the fourth time. When I went to KAY and insisted that my necklace should be replaced with a new one as per their previous statements, they told me that this policy is no longer valid, and they don't know who the store manager is or who provided this guarantee.
