I enjoy going to the Danville Farmersā Market especially during the summer months to buy nectarines and fresh corn on the cob. I donāt like this market allowing people with dogs in the market. I went to the market Saturday, June 24 around 11:45 am and I saw 4 dogs in the market and I was there no more than 10 minutes. There are signs saying āNo Dogsā on the perimeter of the market, but most times I go there, I see dogs, but no one there to enforce it. There was no one in the booth where the manager is supposed to be on Saturday.
The Danville Farmersā Market should do a better job of enforcing the āno dogsā rule since they are certified and should be following the rules that prohibit dogs inside farmersā markets in the State...

I bought some beautiful Cara Cara oranges and they were delicious. I also purchased a new type squash called honey nut squash. I haven't prepared them yet, but they are on the smaller side and shaped like a large pear. I would have given 5 stars, but some of the merchandise was a bit pricey, even for a farmer's market.
