Terrible experience on New Year's Eve. Friends invited us to join them for dinner. This was our first time at Incontro. Three of us ordered the Chicken dish and 15 minutes later were told it was out so we had to select an alternate (more expensive) option.

The portions of each course were ridiculously small. The salad course was boring and uninspired. The lobster salad - literally I had no lobster at all and the others in our party had 1 tiny morsel of lobster. The black truffle risotto was tasty, all 3 bites. The lamb was practically bland and tasteless. The cheesecake tart was decent but again very basic and uninteresting.

I spent $240 for 2 on a dinner that was beyond unsatisfying. Never again will I patronize this overpriced chintzy mediocre restaurant.

RESPONSE to owner: What part ZERO lobster in the lobster salad did you not understand? I do prix fixe frequently. Your menu listed 5-course (not amuse bouche). And in any respect, the food was poor quality and not worth your overpriced charges. I wouldn't come back and spend another penny on your horrible food...

We were disappointed by a different Italian restaurant in town and decided to give Inconto a try. We called last minute on a busy Friday night, and the hostess was pleasant, wanting to find a way to give us a nice table to enjoy a birthday celebration. She was kind and accommodating, seating us at a cozy patio table which was quite comfortable. Our waiter was friendly and informative, making excellent wine and dinner recommendations. My lasagna was delicious, not your basic lasagna, really delicious. My wife's braised short ribs with polenta and carrots was attractively presented and tasted divine. We rarely get dessert, but the main course was so good we thought we'd better try some. I had creme brule, don't usually care to choose that one, and it was fantastic. My wife said the tiramisu was the best she has had! We were completely satisfied with the pleasant, welcoming atmosphere, exemplary service, and most importantly the terrific food. The menu has a very tempting selection of dishes, so we will be...

Absolutely the worse service we have had in a very long time. Took them over an hour to bring out our appetizers, after reminding the waiter two times he finally brought out…our entrees? After explaining to him the 3rd time we got our appetizers. Then when we were finished with our appetizers it took them another 45 minutes to bring out our food, which is understandable since we didn’t want our food to be over cooked by the hot plate, but low and behold my wife’s pasta was dried, and my steak overcooked! Not even an attempt to make it right was made by the waiter, who just kept saying sorry and walking off.

Do not even waste your time coming here, and also as we were walking up there was an awful sewage smell near the front door and they were sitting people outside? Tacky overpriced food. Not even good, and terrible service? Only upside is Downtown is pretty at night and my wife and I was able to walk and laugh about how terrible this restaurant is. DO...

Nice large older home converted to a restaurant. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. We entered about 1:45 pm. We were directly seated inside as we requested. We ordered the Duo and Mostaccioli from their lunch menu. The Duo was Lasagna and a nice Salad which included Gorgonzola crumbles and Walnut halves. The Lasagna has melted cheese that was put under a broiler. Excellent.. The Mostaccioli had a creamy sauce but I couldn't find the advertised Italian Sausage. The Mostaccioli was different from what I would normally have but it very good. I decided to eat it without waiting for the waiter since he was scarce. We ordered the Tiramisu for dessert and shared. It was kind of dry but surrounded by an extremely sweet sauce including a Chocolate swirl. So so. The service was a little spotty even though there were few customers when we entered.

Plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Walk in is welcome but better with the reservation. Indoor ambience is very nice. Very limited menu items and food was delicious. Separate kids menu available as well. Downtown parking might be challenging during weekends but there is a public parking with plenty of spaces available within a walking distance of 2 mins. Only thing I wish is that quantity of food could have been more for a serving. I found the service was great and very friendly staffs.

Fine dining experience. Food is delicious and fresh and presented very well. Staff explained daily specials and recommendations were provided for drinks and food options. Drink options can be customized per guests' likings. I took away a star due to the fact that we had to keep asking for plates and silverware several times for our table throughout the course of the meal.
