This review is on BOTH the Seekonk MA & Middletown RI locations. Over the last 6 days I've been to both locations which resulted in costly trips due to the amount of money I wasted on gas driving both ways. Beyond disappointing & angry!!! Having called both locations prior to going because of gas prices to see if the stores had what I wanted (electric blankets/throws) was told they did have them in stock. However apparently I should have asked if the items actually worked!! Not sure which visit was more annoying, I'll go w/Middletown. After driving there, making the purchase & driving home only to discover the electric throw 1st, had previously been returned & 2nd. DIDN'T WORK. Yesterday I travel to the Seekonk location only to discover the same situation the electric blanket didn't work!!! This time I asked if I could plug the blanket in prior to leaving the store having explained what transpired previously. Reluctantly the sales associate did it but not w/out the biggest attitude. It gets better, the sales associate put the blanket back on the shelf knowing it doesn't work so another can buy! Everyone is aware these stores exist primarily because they purchase close out items from other retailers which reflects in price & clearly quality ITEMS DON'T WORK! We all know the saying you get what you pay for & in both cases here I got nothing but aggravation & attitude! Buyer beware insists on plugging electric items in at these stores...
Read moreI barely leave reviews for big companies, but when an employee really stands out, they deserve their flowers too. A man named Matt. i believe he said his name was. Really went above and beyond for my great aunt. She just had surgery and shouldn't be lifting heavy stuff. She said she wasn't getting much, so i stayed in the car. I see this man coming out of the store with her, and he put all the stuff she bought in my car. My aunt said originally she was trying to get something off the shelf, and he asked if she needed help. When she told him about her surgery, that's when he offered to assist her with putting the stuff in the car. I just want to say thank you, and you guys have a...
Read moreEmployess (3) standing at the service desk talking while one register is open and 15 deep in line. What happened to customers come first ?. Management needs to work on training the employees in good customer service. The one employee that was on a ladder trying to get work done got down off the ladder and opened a register to help with the line. He was grumpy about it and had an attitude but I must say at least he helped. I've worked in retail for over 20 years and understand how frustrating it can be when your the only one doing work while others stand around talking and slacking off ! Also a lot of product on your shelves have no prices on them wake...
