I actually left a review 5 yrs ago, but wanted to update it.... Still a 5 star Jeweler even after all this time! I recently brought in some older jewelry I took out from storage that needed some desperate cleaning & polishing! I also had a small watch I got in a lot of "junk" watches I bought forever ago that was in great condition. Unfortunately the lady working that day couldn't get the back off for some reason & I didn't see her ask anyone else working for assistance, so I was unable to get the battery changed that day.... My mom actually took it to her jeweler who said he had no problem with it, changed the battery & cleaned it up as it worked perfectly fine. I then left my silver Tiffany bracelet that I wear 24/7 & was in need of a good cleaning & polish. It took about a week when they called to let me know it was ready. WOW did it come out BEAUTIFUL! I'm super hard on my jewelry & I forgot how shiny it once was, lol! When I picked up my bracelet, I brought another watch in that was my everyday watch & needed a battery. This time it was a different girl that helped me & she changed out the battery with no problems. I had also brought in an old, very detailed bracelet with stones & a large silver bracelet with tons of links that both needed a GOOD cleaning. Unfortunately, the sales girl thought I meant just a cleaning & did just that.... But it was the deep cleaning & polish that they really needed, so she did the paperwork for that, took the bracelets in & said they'd call when it was ready. The only thing I noticed later was that she didn't clean the watch with the bracelets & I wish she had bc it had debris from my purse in the links, but I'm sure I can have that done when I return to get the bracelets that were ready in less than 5 days (3 I believe). They are also very accommodating if you can't pick up your jewelry right away, which is awesome if your work hours are the same as theirs! I highly recommend this Hannoush store, I've been coming here for years with every jewelry need I've had from resetting stones, cleaning, polishing, batteries, and even selling no longer work or broken jewelry and always get excellent service and quality work for a fair...

DISRESPECTFUL and DISHONEST!!! Does not even deserve one star!!!! August 26 I visited HANNOUSH JEWELERS I had an item that I wanted to know the value . I explained this to the gentleman Behind the counter when I entered . He redirected me to another sales person and then produced my item told him what I wanted and asked him if he could tell me the value of it as I am not Familiar with jewelry and their values. The young sales person said that it was a distinctive item his experience it is Very real and very expensive I asked how much and he said he would need to talk to his boss The owner of the company to take a look at it he then called over the owner. He looked at the watch turned it over and simply said this watch is fake it is not real I was surprised and said that it looks so real what would he value it at he said that it would be not worth more than 200 at max and simply walked away. He did not give me the courtesy of introducing himself or the attention I would think the customer should receive as I have in another establishments . I left in disarray quite upset, in this time of COVID-19 epidemic and all the loss of loved ones you would think someone would be more kind and respectful and attentive I decided to take the item to another place to be evaluated come to find out the watch is real and worth quite a bit had I listened to this gentleman I would have thought it had no value according to him. It was actually very valuable. You go to a place that you feel that you would get an honest answer how can you believe a jeweler that would deceive you it would not have hurt him or his company in anyway to tell me the truth. I will not ever go back there And would suggest all customers get a second opinion from whatever they tell you and will be letting all my family and friends know...

I had gone to Hannoush to have a watch band replaced for a Citizens Pro Master watch that was purchased at a local jewelry store in RI. The service initially was satisfactory, and Hannoush informed me that the band needed to be ordered from Citizens directly and I agreed. The price of a replacement band was 68.00 included tax. I was given a claim slip. I was contacted that the watch was ready for pick up. My wife went in to obtain the watch and was insulted by the sales associate while browsing for other watches and inquired about a Tissot. The sales associate attempted to correct my wife's pronunciation not aware that she in fact lived in France, and possessed fluency. Upon receiving the watch returned, the bezel of the watch was scratched with a x pattern. The claim slip did not reflect any scratches when I left the watch to be repaired. When I contacted them, they denied any responsibility and were dismissive of my concern. I took my watch to where my wife purchased it in Westerly where the jewlery owner stated that the bezel is never covered under warranty however graciously offered since my wife has been a lifetime valued customer of Nigrellis jewlery to replace the bezel through Citizens complementary. I was referred to Hannoush by a trusted associate, and after this experience am beyond dissatisfied with the level of disrespect I received in repairing merely a watch band. I recognize that I was not there to purchase a high end watch at that time I believe that their customer service and my interaction with Hannoush was abhorrent. I would never recommend Hannoush to anyone due to the level of disregard and treatment to not only myself but my wife.
