It could be that it’s Monday! It seems no one wants to work anymore, yet they want to get paid. I waited 45 minutes just to get help with a Christmas Tree in the Nursery. They finally send someone out; it takes about, no exaggeration 25 to 35 minutes to cut a little piece off the tree. After everything is all set I ask for assistance getting it on top of my truck, he points me in a direction, to ask some else to call for help. I proceeded to ask the lady to call someone to assist. The same lady that I originally ask to call someone to assist us in the beginning and did not. (I had to walk through the store, the first gentleman I ask if he would be able to assist me in the Nursery or call someone that can, and he said he could not do either. I again proceeded to the front where 4-5 employees were enjoying a great conversation. I asked a lady for help, and about another 20 minutes pass and they sent out a young man that has never done this or have had experience in doing it. The young man they sent out was sweet and super apologetic and admitted he’s never done this, and that they just sent him out. Some of you make think I’m just as horrible for not knowing how to tie my tree to the roof of my truck. Ever since a little girl we would pick out a tree and they would assist in putting it on the roof nice and tight. Not to mention they would be super happy to do so, which is why we would always tip them and go back every year. I could understand if it was super busy and there were numerous customers, but this was not the case. I ended up putting the tree the best I could, I drove super slow, and held the strings as tight as I could. What upset me the most was I started off in the Somerset location, and waiting there for over 20 minutes seeing no one wanted to assist us, we then went to the Dartmouth location. Not to mention I called on the way there just to make sure I would receive help because of what just has happened in the Somerset location. It seemed to be the same if not worse. I was highly disturbed. Maybe it’s time to try other places. I usually never do this, everyone has a not so great day, but I feel there was no excuse for what happened at...
Read moreI went to Home Depot to pick up a 4 × 8 sheet of plywood to do a home project. I needed it cut in half length wise. I searched the lumber dept and couldn't find one of those orange vest for about 10 minutes..I finally went to the Pro desk and asked for help in paging someone to the lumber dept. It took 15 minutes to get an associate that belonged to that department but I still wasn't out of the woods yet...the only associate was on a prior mission to get a load of wire for another customer. So I was told there would be a wait.....So I pulled up a stepping stool stacked to the side and sat down in front of the saw, made my self comfortable.....in about 15 min,the only lumber associate came by with her safety flag and another home depot personal driving a lift with a load of wire heading to the front bay doors.....the entire interaction of waiting for the only person that was assigned to work in lumber to show up to cut a piece of wood was approximately 25 minutes not including the time it took me to find someone to do the job. The icing on the cake was when the associate finally did get to the saw to do my project...she came with an nasty attitude. Now, mind you by this time there was another customer who had been sitting against lumber waiting for almost as long as I had for the same thing. ...He had been much more vocal about his time being wasted, incompetent help, Home Depots lack of customer service, ect ,etc. etc. The associate did apologize for the wait but she did so with such disdain, like it was something awful in her mouth that she needed to spit out. I was ready to sympathize with her because I understood that someone in a higher position than her was responsible for scheduling her alone. The associates attitude to the both of us..... waiting customers made us feel as though we should be grateful that she did eventually showed up to wait on us.The one bright spot in the entire wasted trip was the cashier that rang me out....she apologized for the wait, asked if I needed help getting lumber into my car, even though I turned down the offer I appreciated her asking if I...
Read moreMy neighbors sacrificed my best friend in a satanic ritual. I was granted two restraining orders against them, but even with an eviction notice they continue to squat in the home across the street from me and watch my family's every move. In a creative effort to both decorate for the holidays and protect ourselves, I began allotting my money for the corn stock bunches supply of various home depots to build a privacy wall around my front and back deck to block both doors and bring us peace. Coincidentally, this Home Depot has the tallest, most beautiful corn stalk bunches of any location I have seen this year, and I explained this to an employee here, a stylish woman by the name of Lee who loves to wear the same type of chrome silver metals I do. This angel sent from above went out of her way to pay for more corn stalks when she noticed I could only budget a couple at a time per visit. Lee, your compassion and show of empathy has moved me so deeply I feel compelled to write this review. I want you to get a raise, praise, promotion, whatever it is in life that you need. You touched my heart and soul and made me cry from gratefulness; I feel as though you were stepping in with the motherhood instinct of protection, a warmth that cannot be mistaken. People like you deserve everything. I was so upset when my receipt got swept away from the open hatchback while I was trying to fit the stalks into my car because I couldn't take the survey at the bottom. Hope this will do! Take care...
