Dollar General — Local services in Dayton

Well I am in shock! Never have I ever ....In all the reviews I have done and stores I have been to have seen anything like this in my life! This store was complete disaster. Words will never describe this, you will have to look at the pictures I have posted. This is not what I thought Dollar General would allow to happen to their store. I can honestly say you can NOT tell the last time that floor was swept or mopped. I felt unsafe and scared something would fall on us. Not to mention you could not get to anything! It’s the messiest store I’ve been to. I went earlier today and there was a total of 7 employees on one shift and all of them were outside except one. He claimed he was a new worker and he said he didn’t know where any of the stuff was located. He needed help and nobody was around to help him. (His customer service was excellent. There’s no complaining over him. It’s the rest of the workers.)There was a line with 6 customers and he was the only one attending us. There is about the different isles around the store with the same stuff on the shelf and there are shelves with nothing on them. This store need help or needs to...

I have been too this particular Dollar General several times a week in the last 3months. Very pleasant staff no matter what day or time of day. The only occasion I have encountered boxes just sitting in the isles, it looks as if they are in the process of unpacking a rather large delivery. As for crowded isles, excuse me but the store is a older store which is smaller than the newer ones. . I don't believe the staff should be criticized for the Corporate Office, not realizing the "Public" holds the staff accountable for trying to make more products fit in a "Old" product store.
