The pharmacy is HORRIBLE! I know for sure there are liars working that area. My mother called in a refill on Monday and by Tuesday evening it wasn't refilled. They said they had to call her cardiologist to approve it. The next day was Thanksgiving...no office is open that day. She called the pharmacy back on Friday (3 days after the refill request). They said they still didn't have it refilled because they were unable to contact the doctor's office, but they would give her 3 tablets to last until Monday. She called them today (Monday) and the pharmacist told her her prescription had been denied. She immediately called her doctor's office and they told her Walgreens had NOT contacted them and that they never deny refills on heart medication. They asked my mom which Walgreens she used, she told them the one in Dayton. They told her they had been having a lot of trouble with that pharmacy denying refills without ever contacting the doctor's office. My mother got a call from Walgreens about an hour after she talked to her doctor's office and guess what...her refill was ready!! My mother has been a customer of the Dayton location since it opened, but will be switching to Kroger. I had the same sort of problem with a Walgreens pharmacy at a different location (Atascocita/Humble). I switched to Kroger...a lot cheaper and no problems!! I've been using them for at least 8 years and very happy with them.

Read moreThis store has absolutely the worst customer service that I've ever seen with Walgreens. The impression that I was given is that they are doing me a favor by taking my business to them. In other words, you need us more than we need your business. That's why I take my business to Walmart. I got there at 9:55, the pharmacy staff, filed into the Pharmacy single file, they looked at me as the went into the pharmacy. As they were raising the windows, I thought to myself that I'd give them a minute or 2 to get the registers ready, as I paused in speaking, a man walked up the the window and was served before me. Not once, did anyone ask me if I needed any help, I was ignored until they told me to "get in line." Maybe I'm old school, maybe I was expecting someone to say politely " sir may I help you"? The pharmacy has literally been closed for a least a week now. They cancelled all the co vid testing and as it turns out I have co vid. Now I can't get my antibiotics We are kind of out in the country so there are no pharmacies around. I just called and they left me on hold for 15 mins then picked up phone and then hung it up.
