August 12-What a breath of diesel... lite to heavy was the variety! If you came on feeling Great you left with a Headache! It was so full (26 +2 crew=28)that it made it impossible to move around. The front was full making it very hard to move about and view wildlife. Captain Jessie, Rob was her crew... tried to accommodate both side to view wildlife(mostly birds that can be seem from Beach); however with the mention of an animal everyone flooded to that side making the boat to tip severely to that side. No Air movement even with sitting by the window. I would recommend this for anybody wanting to know who’s who that lives in big houses and have big boats! If you are a History Buff this ride is a MUST! We got to see loads of birds and a few dolphin. However you can see the same at your local beach! We could see dolphin and all the birds at Ormond Beach at a closer view! If you are looking for a manatee view just drive 2 hours to Crystal River for a 3 hour swim with manatees for $59 each! Gear included! Cheaper then parasailing... put your 25$ towards a For “Sure” sighting .... your children will thank you!! Suggestion: have your Cpt and Crew OFF phones to take notice how FULL the boat is, (interact with customers)the Cpt even stated that everyone had to sit down so she could see! (That we were not on a “Disney ride with tracks”). Maybe have crew member speaking out with the customers... to see questions interacting. Up front letting them know when was the last time of a manatee sighting was..... Install working fans with fan blades... I am not sure if you realize that you little fans are NOT working.... and lastly put a cap on the numbers of allowed not filling boats up completely to Include the little front for viewing.... with just these 3 things I am sure you will resolve loads of...

The crew are very professional and enjoy their job. But human too. They interact well together and with the passengers. They know the wild life, history, and their boats. Very calm and relaxing ride. You will definitely see the birds, alot of fishermen, bottle nose dolphins, and river channels. Been 2 different times at different times of the year and saw them. Will be going next year also. The light house tour wasn't included but they do tell the history and photographers get set up for several really cool pics. Of course all the birds and dolphins and pretty pictures are on my wife's camera.

Now at the same company, do deep sea fishing. My first time and no I didn't loose my cookies. Didn't take Dramamine either. Got my sea legs so to speak. The crew was amazing always encouraging and also verbal jousting with the locals on the back of the boat. Met the captain and chatted about north Ga fishing. Then caught some fish. Trigger and red snapper is all I got pictures of. But got to see mango, mullet, and alot of little bait fish. We used cut mullet and squid and fished the reef. Excellent trip and day. Local tip, back of the boat catches more fish.

Threw in a few pics of my beach catches a nice little blue and...

Staff is very friendly and fun. However the captain spent most of her time on Facebook while driving the boat. The first mate had lots of knowledge of the area and shared lots of it. We didn’t get to see very many dolphins during our cruise, just Mother Nature. No manatees at all. I liked the attitudes of the crew for the most part. Now this is the most uncomfortable seating ever. The seats are extremely hard to sit on because they are so small and I’m not a bigger person. I strongly think the seating of the boat needs to be re-done. The seating makes it hard to enjoy the whole two hours of the tour. We didn’t get our full two hours, the boat was having some kind of issues. The captain had to call back a couple times to figure out the issue. Believe it was because the boat was over heating. They offered snacks before we got on the cruise. I’ve done other dolphin cruises before and unfortunately this has been the worse one so far. I just think overall they need a new boat. It’s hard to see things on both sides of the boat, the windows need to be taller to allow people to see out on both sides no matter where they are sitting and they need new seats. Wasn’t a terrible time just wasn’t the...

As a USCG-licensed tour boat captain, it's always great fun to meet other captains and boat crews and see how they do things. Hubby and I took a tour on The Manatee yesterday and it was fantastic! The boat was clean and comfortable, and Mike, the owner, kept everything well-organized from the time we called to make a reservation to the time we disembarked. Captain Jessie and first mate Rob have both been doing this a while and it showed in their skill, attention to safety, and knowledge of the area. They kept us entertained with local stories and also pointed out the wildlife along the way. We spotted dolphins several times and Capt. Jessie did a great job maneuvering the boat so everyone had a chance to see them. The price is really reasonable, too. If you're near Ponce Inlet, Daytona or New Smyrna Beach, definitely include The Manatee on your "must do" list.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Out-of-town guests wanted to go on a cruise and see manatees and dolphins. We had never been on such trip, at least in Daytona so we found The Manatee and boy are we glad we did! June is kind of the wrong time of year to see manatees, at least easily. Sadly, while we didn't see any manatees, we saw HUNDREDS (maybe thousands) of other wildlife! Alligators...turtles...flamingos...and yes, dolphins! Lots of dolphins! And birds? Did I mention the birds? Thousands of birds! Beautiful species, big and small. Big Brown Pelicans, Great & Little Blue Herons, White Ibis, Osprey, Roseate Spoonbill, several species of Egrets and on and on! And then there was the scenery! And the waterfront homes and the....well, you get the idea! The 2 hour cruise was the highlight of our friends visit to Daytona Beach!
