I will never make the mistake of patronizing this place again. I had two sour experiences going here. I tried this place out because this store was featured in the short-lived sitcom, American Muslim many years ago. My recent experience, I was not greeted nor offered assistance during my search for an occasion formal gown. After going through gowns for over 30 minutes, I found one that I wanted to try on. I asked if there was a dressing room, and I was told by the sale associate what my size was and that the dress would fit. Mind you, I asked if there was a fitting room in which there is one and I watched another lady being guided to a fitting room. I feel as if I was not welcomed to try on dresses there. During my final visit, I was in need of an occasion gown, and I hear the sales associate in conversation about career choices. In the conversation the topic of nurses came up and a derogatory word came up too about one of the associates' friends seeing a certain ethnic doctor. I won't repeat the racial derogatory name used for the doctor but to have an open conversation downgrading nurses to being medical waitresses or servants and to use derogatory term for another ethnicity is beyond sour. I can't say if the sales associate herself said it or her friends who she was conversating with but, that type of discussion should have been hushed when you have patrons. I am by the entrance looking for dresses and they are at the counter in a group, and I can hear them clear as day. You should have better professionalism and decorum as young ladies. You never know who is in your presence as I am a nurse, and I am of an ethnicity that you won't expect to speak several languages and fluent Arabic as I lived in Jordan for several years. From both recent experiences, I ended up walking out without making a purchase and took myself to SAKS to by a gown. I was trying to support local business but that went left...

I stand by my review. Reviews are meant for customers to share their experiences, not to be dismissed or questioned. I donāt have to reach out privately in order for my experience to be valid.
You claim you āsearched your recordsā but you donāt even have my information, so how exactly did you do that? That kind of response doesnāt solve anything, it just makes it clear that instead of listening to customers, you would rather try to discredit them.
The correct approach would have been simple: apologize and ask me to contact you to resolve the issue. Thatās what good customer service looks like. Instead, your reply is defensive, accusatory, and unprofessional.
And since it is obvious your reply was written using ChatGPT, maybe next time you should use it to learn how to improve customer service and how to respond to customers with respect. Go read your own reviews. Many people are pointing out the same problem. Customer service is your issue, not me leaving an honest review.

Iāve shopped at Hijabee in Dearborn Heights off Ford Road many times over the years and have always loved their scarves. They were my go-to spot whenever I needed one because of the quality.
Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. I spent over $250 on scarves. After just one wash, they shrunk to the point where they no longer cover my hair. For scarves at this price point, that should never happen.
Itās such a shame, because I used to trust Hijabee for quality, but it feels like things have changed. This time around, the product did not meet expectations at all. I left very disappointed, and honestly, I wonāt...
