Big Apple Bagels — Restaurant in Dearborn Heights

It was close to 80F outside & when we got inside it felt in the high 90’s. Was told it was because of the ovens. That was clearly not the truth, they didn’t have the air on. They also had zero bagels available except for plain & a cinnamon & was told they only have cinnamon raisin & blueberry for sweet (didn’t have any blueberry) kind usually but none now because of Ramadan. So we only got one plain bagel (wasn’t given a receipt either & bagel was day old) & we didn’t say anything but not everyone celebrates or fasts for Ramadan & the location is where many people would stop at in Dearborn Heights. Not in a set Muslim neighborhood. It’s a franchise Restaurant & should have all bagels they typically sell available & not only a few....

I'm about to put y'all on something. I'm from Washington so bagels are big where I'm from, this place has definitely topped my charts. The bagels are large, soft, and toasted to perfection. I got a BLT on cheddar and a cream cheese and jalapeno. My boyfriend got a turkey egg and cheese on everything bagel, he lives here and said he would come back. The man behind the counter was very nice and had a very happy demeanor. 5 stars and would return next time I have a hankering for a bagel. Prices are very respectful for the quality of food. I want to give 1 star but I'll give them 1 more try. Girls were hanging out when I walked in no greeting one girl simply yelled out what can I get for you. I had barely walked in the door. She was very unprofessional asking me "do you want cream or no".. who says stuff like that. Food was lacking. Bagel with guac literally had a tiny smere of quac on there. Other bagels were bland also. For 20 bucks for 3 bagles, I can go elsewhere. Please take this review as a training guide for your employees. Even if your employees are family, that's not an excuse to be unprofessional...
