I cracked my phone 5 in September and I went here to get it fixed. the iPhone 6 and 6 plus were out, so I figured my phone wouldn't be expensive to repair. they told me $110, and I was shocked but my screen was really bad so I paid. it took an hour, which was great, but the results were not what I paid for.
I didn't notice any problems when I brought my phone home. however, that night, my screen began flickering and when I scrolled, the image stayed on the screen and didn't display properly. I thought this was a software issue but I restarted AND restored my phone to factory settings and it didn't fix the problem. turns out, the display was defective. i also noticed light from the display shining through the edge of the glass. the home button is also loose and would come out when I pressed down.
I went back to the shop about a week later. my screen wasn't flickering when I went in, so when I explained the problems, they told me they "can't fix what's not broken." I understood, but I don't have a reason to lie. they told me to come back when the screen was flickering but I live 20 minutes away, and the flickering is so random, I couldn't ever make it to the shop in time.
I accidentally dropped my phone today, and it hasn't even been three months since its been "fixed." I've had my life proof case on ever since the first break (I learned my lesson, I wasn't willing to risk my screen again) and the screen shattered. I had my phone for two and a half years, and the first time it cracked, I had the case off. here I am, three months later, and it cracked again with the case on! at the shop, they told me the case only works when the phone fits tightly and when the glass is fixed in place. well, my screen broke with the case on, and I didn't have any cracks.
I do not recommend this place to anyone. the products are definitely overpriced for the quality and the customer...
Read moreI had my phone replaced due to frequently dropped internet connectivity. The initial cellular phone company, which I won't name, failed to transfer FB/Messenger. I tried doing this myself at home and messed it up by having to create a new FB account. Well, I drove the 20 miles back to the cell phone company, explaining what happened. The tech there tried for about 5minutes to get my phone back to its initial settings, couldn't do it and said sorry, said to call FB on the phone. I knew I'd be on hold for days. Left there, took the long way home through DeBary on 17-92 hoping I'd find a phone fix store along the way that would/could help me. I passed by this little store, Cellular Tronics, made an illegal U-turn and circled back...entered the little store hoping for the best but thinking the worst, simply because of what the other tech guy told me. Come to find out, that guy just didn't want to spend the time to fix it obviously because it would take too much time. Well, here at Cellular Tronics, Rissa, the very friendly lady behind the front desk took my phone and fixed it right then and there...took awhile due to the influx of customers coming into the store, but she restored my phone back to normal. It was not easy to do since I had already messed up the phone by creating another account. But Rissa did it, unlike that other guy at **! I am so grateful to have happened upon this store. I will always go there for any of my other electronic needs as well as phone issues...especially after reading all the great reviews from other satisfied customers. Rissa was friendly, patient, courteous, professional, and very knowledgable. The cost was less than what I thought it would be, so I gratefully tipped her more. Thank you Cellular Tronics, thank you Rissa...
Read moreI was referred here by a friend. The staff is friendly and great!
So My fiancé phone started a boot loop while on a boat and after trying everything online we went to the apple store. Genius Bar what a joke!!! We told them her phone hadn’t backed up her data in three years as her iCloud was full. They told us there was nothing that could be done that the phone had to be factory reset and she would basically lose the last three years of her data. Before we could say that wasn’t an option they took the phone and started to reset it!!! Go figure the reset didn’t work, thank God, and they said that the logic board was broken and she needed a new phone and all her data was lost. Then the apple genius tells us they are partnered with another company out of CA called drive savers data recovery and suggest we called them that was a painful call and I was given a quote of minimum $700 and a max of $3,500 to possibly get her data. So I called a friend that fixes androids and see if he could help and he referee me to Will the owner of cellulartronics.
We brought the iPhone XS over and they said they would see what they could do. After a day we got a call back that not only were they able to repair the phone but we able to retain all her data!!!
I can’t express enough that this staff is top notch and was able to fix an iPhone that apple store couldn’t and saved us a ton of money! 100% will come here in the future with any...
