Purchased gift cards to send to Massachusetts. The young lady who was manager on duty, regular manager during week is Belinda. I can tell you Belinda never double bags glass purchases. Today’s substitute manager sold me the gift cards with no receipt to send to the 3 different places the cards were going in MA. I asked for a refund or copy of the receipt so each person receiving gift card would be able to be sure to use cards. Would not make a copy of the receipt nor give my money back. Also never told me on the front end of the purchase that it would be one rceipt only. Go to Walgreens’s where you get a proper receipt for a gift card. I feel like I need a shower when I leave there because the store has an odor and the aisles are impassable. Not worth the convenience. ALWAYS a hassle. So disappointed. This is in Debary, Florida and corporate never responds. So many other places to shop that care about...

I will never shop at this store again. My son took my disabled 70 year old brother, who has a speech impediment, to shop there. My brother made his purchases and stepped outside to eat an ice cream. My son was standing in the aisle when he heard the clerk behind the counter and another person making fun of my brother's speech and of his ear, which he had recently had surgery on for cancer. My son was furious! Considering the thoughtlessness of this employee, I will probably never shop in a Dollar General store again. Hiring standards must be very low. If you want to use coupons here do it online. They never work here properly and the first time we came the employee saw and fixed the issue but every time since we have basically been told too bad we can’t do anything from one lady that is just rude as hell. Also to all the people saying clean it’s not and any day we come I understand stocking but multiple isles blocked and a mess with whoever’s “stocking” never on those isles making it make no sense why is a whole blocked off mess.
