I'm a bit disappointed in the way Winn-Dixie handles specific ordering of product.
For the last few months, I have been trying to get a specific item only found at this specific store double to quadruple the order, yet each week, when I show up Friday evening, only 1 case is ordered (6 packages, 4 units in each package,) I purchase every one. I have made it a point on numerous occasions to provide my phone number, only one employee, Judy, has really assisted. Tony seems to have disassociated himself from the joys of customer service, but the biggest disappointment is the store manager, who seems to have a singular response when I ask for her assistance. She gives the ole brush off with, "Oh, it's probably discontinued," yet it shows up almost every single week, that One. Solitary. Case.
Again, it's so disappointing that with either a phone call or an addition to the computer system, I'm stuck having to go every single week to grab what's left (have yet to be called when it comes in,) and just to add the icing, a recent reset now has the items on the top shelf in the freezer, I've had both shoulders rebuilt, very difficult and painful reach, used to be chest high and easier to access.
It would just be nice, as a local frequenting this location over 5 years, being a Winn-Dixie member and literally coming every single week for months, for Winn-Dixie to actually listen to their patrons' requests, and offer actual customer service instead of lip service, platitudes, excuses and utter disinterest. And please, just stop saying something is discontinued when you have no actual proof, or saying it's controlled by computer. People programmed it, and you're simply not fulfilling demand.
Special item specifically not listed here, I have a hard enough time getting the one case. No offense, some of you would have to know just what product is worth all that fuss, then I'd never get my hands on...
Read moreI normally don't shop here but it was the only grocery store open on Easter Sunday the 14th as publix was closed.
The prices are higher than Publix unless you have the rewards card which then brings the price down to similar to what Publix is. Fine Publix is closed I had no choice.
Was trying to find children's toothpaste and an employee made eye contact and then avoided us as my wife and I were openly discussing where it may be.. I then realized she was an employee ( wearing a hoodie) and she replied " I think at the next isle over" . We went there and she was correct , all the toothpaste was scattered around on the shelf, had to check to line up the price.
There was no rotisserie chicken hot and ready to go, only two chickens in a refrigerator case that looked like they were overcooked. Deli worker was hacking and sneezing ( ewww stay home if your sick.).
The apple juice pouches I got for my kid I later found out had a "best by Nov 16 2018" wife discovered this April 26th 2019. Now I know I have to check the date when I shop here. High prices and past best by date .. wonderful.
We did not buy some of the produce there as it looked old and was very expensive.
I don't use the membership rewards as I dont like giving my phone number to companies that have an agreement to share my phone number with marketing groups. I get enough telemarketer calls as it is.
I can see why these stores are closing down. They clearly dont care about customer service or the employees and sell expired overpriced goods. I'm uploading a picture of the juice pouch date if you dont believe me.
If your an executive of Winn-dixie you don't deserve a pension or bonus, You suck you deserve a kick in the nuts cause your stores clearly lack in...
Read moreThey usually have their items fully stocked yet they don't carry as many brands, flavors, sizes as places such as Publix does. Also, make sure to check the expiration dates on items because there have been a number of times where I've accidentally bought something expired because they apparently don't check their items shelf life that often. And, be prepared to wait in line forever if they are busy because they always only have like 2 registers open and maybe their express lane but their express lane is 20 items less unlike other stores where it's usually 10 or less so you still have to wait. They also don't have self check out. On a positive note, they do usually have tons of BOGOs which is great! Also, you save a lot if money using your Winn-Dixie rewards card. You also earn money by using the rewards card by building up points! Be sure to always ask when you check out if you have any money on your rewards card that you can use towards your purchase! I usually tend to forget to ask and when I finally do remember I end having something like $14 that I can then just apply to my purchase! I hope...
