God forbid you have an emergency, cannot call immediately to cancel the appointment before the owner calls you to tell you that you are disrespectful because you didn't call before.
We woke up this morning to our laundry room/garage being flooded from a pipe that had burst (we just moved into this house maybe a few weeks ago?) and we needed to handle that emergency first which took ALL freaking day and the owner called me to basically insult me as if I have been disrespectful of the technicians time repeatedly. The plumber has been here since the morning dealing with this, we had to run to Home Depot to get material he needed and make sure we could leave knowing our home would not be flooded by the time we got back, I had confirmed the appointment at 2:19PM after asking the plumber how much longer it would be and him telling me he was about to be done so I thought the job was going to be done on time for us to get to the salon which did not happen so I told my fiancé to call and notify them of this.
Then I was met with Steven calling me to tell me off, what kind of business owner are you? What is wrong in your head that you think it is ever ok to call a client who makes sure to tip YOUR employees well in that manner and say that you won't take any more appointments from me?
Needless to say we will not be booking again out of respect for Kevin and his time not because of the owner calling in the manner he did but simply because I also do not like my time being wasted and I completely understand how this could've impacted Kevin, I made sure to apologize. Before that I have my fiancé the phone number to the salon and asked him to call while it was still 2:30PM to let them know we needed to reschedule, the owner did not rescheduled and instead called me to tell me I was disrespectful and to never come back to his salon again.
Up until today I had been extremely happy with the customer service, the way the staff works and most of all with the way Kevin took care of my nails but after that interaction with Steven (the owner) today I sincerely cannot even believe he would behave in such a manner like calling a customer without at least inquiring what the reason for the cancellation was before going off on them.
Vibes are unfortunately off and it is due...
Read moreI gotta say, place is beautiful it's under renovation, everyone was such sweet hearts and very friendly but I tell ya what.. I went in first time, and Vicky was my nail tech really nice lady such a sweet heart to my daughter, but I originally went in for just a gel mani and Vicky looked at me and was like, are you sure you only want gel no tips? I looked at her and laughed lol and was like okay let's do it! So I decided I wanted stiletto tips plain black.. well she added the tips and then cut them short and I asked her, I was like aren't they gonna be too short for stiletto? She said no cause you don't want to hurt your baby in a joking way, which is fine and we were having conversations and what not laughing, and then she started filling them and I was like those are not stiletto so she made my two fingers pointy and they were too short! So I stopped her and told her I'm sorry but I don't want you to continue because this isn't what I asked for, normally, you'd soak them to come off, instead! She peeled them off!?.. which not only hurt so freaking bad bad she not only ripped them off with scissor clippers but she took my real nail with it.. and omg! My nails are burning and bleeding! They are down to the skin where my nails connect to my fingers!.. ugh I really loved the atmosphere! But the way she started blaming me saying I wanted them that short and making me out as the horrible customer causing problems, not only that they all including the owner gave me dirty looks and I said I'm sorry but I'm gonna go. The owner just said, yeah dont mess with them now, with dirty looks, I just walked out.. sorry but I will not recommend this place. They didn't even...
Read moreLet me start by saying I have been coming to this nail salon for a while, never have I experienced what happened today . I had an appointment for a manicure/pedicure . During one of my treatments I received a phone call regarding a business matter. I am a very soft spoken person and as someone who has been getting manicures for the last 20 years I am well aware of salon etiquette. My end of the phone basically consisted of a " yes and no." The technician proceeds to tell me " get off your phone you're giving me a headache - I laughed because I thought for sure she was joking . To my surprise she was not - proceeding to tell me if I don't get off she's getting the manager. To keep this long story short - just like everyone else I am there for a relaxing treatment. I am not there to get verbally abused by a nail technician. I got the manager myself an asked if it was part of their business practice to let their staff talk to customers this way. The technician threw my hand so hard when I got up to get the manager I for sure an going to have a bruise. They allow this once chances are it will happen again. Let me state there were several other people on their phones loud watching movies I might add- possibly because I am of a certain ethnic background I was treated a certain way. Save your money and your sanity and visit another nail salon!! ( Trish was the...
