First time I've been in this store. I thought I would check it out. I went in totally blind I should have done a little research before I went into the store. I didn't know it's procedures. The first thing I was hit with as I had to pay a quarter to get a cart. I didn't have any change on me at the moment I usually do but two elderly ladies were finishing up the shoping and gave me their cart. I will have to keep that in mind next time I come here. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. Most people don't carry cash anymore just card. However I do use cash sometimes and I'll keep it in mind to keep some change on me or in my car. Went inside and it took me awhile because I had to learn the layout of the store. Items are limited more than other stores but I was able to find everything but two items on my list. Check out was quick. I noticed there's no self-checkouts at the store which I'm kind of used to checking myself out these days. Store was clean and not crowded even for a weekend. I was able to maneuver around the store with no problem. The air did have some odd smells but nothing bad. I guess I'm just not used to being here. Did not realize you bag your own groceries but that's my fault for not doing my research. No big deal I figured it out pretty quickly and grab three or four paper bags and took care of my groceries in no time. Overall not a bad place. The only downside that I see is I wish there were more items to select from. Prices were about 10 to 15 per cent lower than I usually pay it other stores so overall not a bad experience. Stores in a good location that I've used before when this location was a Winn Dixie. It's easy to get in and out of the lot onto a main road and...
Read moreIt is unfortunate I must change my rating based on my experience a few minutes ago. I encountered a rude/ discourteous cashier with a nasty attitude named Isabella. I checked out and she put my bag in the cart and then put my items in the cart. For the very next shopper that she rang up, she placed her items in her bag. I said" You could have placed my items in the bag". She ignored me. I asked" Did you hear me? She replied" I did". I then said" You could have put my items in the bag". She then threw me a dirty look and said" You got a cart!!". And turned back to ringing the customer up. My issue is not with the store policy if that is in fact what it is. My issue is with the flippant, nasty, rude behavior of the cashier. I spoke with the female manager on duty and she was couteous and apologetic. A male employee walked up , who I assume was a manager also and began listening. When I finished complaining to the female manager, the male manager than began telling me to not park in the pickup area again. Note- he spoke with me outside when I first pulled into the spot, knew I was not there for a pickup, yet said nothing. Wait..it gets worse. As I was exiting past the rude cashier, he said something to her and she started laughing. His skill set is sub par and the rude cashier is nasty, with a bad attitude. The female manager on duty was superb and the other male manager with the red hair and beard who is usually there is superb also. That male manager there today and that female cashier will bring the professionalism and customer service down. One to two bad apples can spoil the whole bunch. Those two...
Read moreI love Aldi because we end up saving money there I'm a way and yet we definitely spend more then we went in thinking we would lol I am obsessed with the white cheddar popcorn so we always get that! It's better then the name brand one you all know about ;) and the cheese slices are great too cheaper than any other store and doesn't expire as fast as let's say the WM ones. I just do not buy meat here just lunch meats time from time and fruit and veggies here is a must!!!! The selection of organic items is impressive too and discounted. Do not forget to bring bags!!!! And a quarter for your cart Update: went today day of the Superbowl it was quiet in there and we did notice an increase in some prices. Some items are now a little more than Walmart so just do what we do add everything into Walmart app and price shop! We end up getting the cheaper items at Aldi and set a grocery pick up for the other items that are less at Walmart now to save time and...
