Confort services now under the name of Rack Electric. This is a really unprofessional company. Our units were installed by Confort Services 2 years ago and for some reason the 2 units stop working. We called them and they send a technician who supposed to know about communicating system, they told us we’ll have at least one unit working for the day that the went for the diagnostic Pablo spend a lot of hours trying to figure out the unit and was not able to fix anything. He argued that he had to order the 2 boards that were bad he took the old boards with him and came back at the next day with only one board, he installed that new board and was not able to figure out nothing, after 3 days he told us he can not do anything. We called this Rack Electric company and they say they were on vacation they didn’t care that we have a newborn at home without a/c or heater, we told them that we need it to call another company and we need it our board for the second unit back in place. They send Pablo back to our place and he installed the old board missing the plate and a lot of screws. We contacted this company again and told them that the board was missing parts and they say they don’t have nothing to do with that. The resolution was for us to pay them $500 for the new board and contact Goodman the manufacturer in order to get our $500 back. They are doing something that’s not legal our 2 units are under warranty we do not have to pay for parts we are not a/c contractor, we now called another company and they need to order the 2 boards because Pablo not even installed the one new board good and they are charging me for the screws and plate that Pablo took with him. I do not recommend this company, they are pirates and have no knowledge and are very unprofessional. I’ll fight for my refund on a diagnostic that was never true and also for the parts that one of the boards was missing. I called Amy to talk with her about it and the receptionist told me they will call back but they didn’t. Very irresponsible, because of this we are without a/c- heater for more...
Read moreGood luck getting them to respond. I have been trying to arrange them to come out and give me a quote to replace my home A/C for several months now. I have called and left messages, emailed, and sent messages through their website multiple times with zero response. I am literally trying to hand them thousands of dollars and they don't really care. It would be one thing if they respond and cant schedule before a couple of weeks out but radio silence is not the answer. I guess they don't need the money that badly. Save your time and shop elsewhere. There are a number of other local businesses that are ready and able.
Update: While it is unfortunate it took a bad Google review to get them respond I completely understand the reason for not taking additional customers and it makes sense. I am completely fine with this explanation. I do however reiterate the reason for my review which is as it was stated NO CONTACT WHATSOEVER from anyone named Garrett or otherwise. I have no email, phone calls, voicemails, or text messages. Garrett is lying to you. I will not be altering my review for...
Read moreThey used to be Comfort Services in Deland. They now changed to this scam of a company. I was on a maintenance plan with Comfort Services. Due to having to change, they were supposed to give me a $40 credit on my maintenance with them. They charged me full price and I "didn't remind them" of the credit.
After they did the maintenance, my AC's motor blew. I called them to see what was going on and to get an estimate. They invoiced me for a service call when they were out two days prior for the maintenance! $119, on top of the $119 they already charged me for "maintenance."
I was forced to buy a new unit. They tried to charge me almost 10k. I called the corporate office and they said someone would get back to me because there was no way I was going to pay for a service call when I already paid for it days prior. It has been a week now and I have not received a call back. Don't get scammed by...
