honestly they suck , theyāre rude to their customers, canceled my hair appointment 30 MINUTES BEFORE MY SCHEDULED APP with nothing in return! My hair was washed and dried ready to go, I was already driving to Ulta when they called and canceled. And mind you I had this schedule for a month since they the girl who was going do my hair didnāt have time to do it when I originally came in first week of October asking if I can get my hair done before my trip on the 16th of October which is completely understandable but still sucked for me. I came back from my trip and scheduled my appointment took the day off to make sure I was at this appointment which itās very hard for me to get days off since I work 50-60 hours a week and Iām in school full time so the 30 min cancellation before my appointment was unprofessional. I had asked if someone else could do it and they said since my hair is long nobody would have time to do it and I would have to come in on another day. Mind you my hair is virgin, I wanted a cut, full highlights, and maybe some extra added color like copperā¦I was extremely exited for this because the last time I got my hair done professionally was when I was 12, Iāve done my hair myself all these years and really wanted to have a good experience with getting a new hair style since I havenāt touched it in years. I also asked for any accommodations they could give me since I literally was in my car heading there when they called and they said they donāt do accommodations or anything even tho the circumstances. The explanation they gave me was that the stylist was āsickā but if the stylist is sick why would they call 30 min before and not sooner? I was so overwhelmed when every time I turned a corner someone came up to me asking if I needed help. I could FEEL all the associates staring me down. It was really uncomfortable. The same woman approached me 3 times, in about 10 minutes. I couldnāt tell if she was genuinely trying to be helpful, or she was suspicious of me for no reason. I get that part of your job is to ask people if they need help, I work retail sales too, but you guys are like vultures. I work at a very high end store and would never approach the same person that many times after them telling me they were okay, just looking. I kind of felt like a criminal because EVERY ONE was staring me down and asking me if I needed help while I was just looking around. When Iām shopping I want it to be a āpeacefulā experience, probably like many others. By the time the 5th or 6th associate approached me within 15 minutes, I felt like I just needed to get out of there. I was going to buy more than what I had, but I couldnāt take another person approaching me. I love how many services their salon offers and their staff works as a team. Will be back š Edited: Jane left to go to another location too far for me to drive. I went back and tried someone else. My color wasnāt really what I wanted. I asked for root blending and keeping the blonde on my ends and it was basically just an all over color. Much darker than anticipated. Jane would always ensure I was completely happy with my service before leaving, the new girl seemed in a rush (I was the last person of the day and I think she was ready to go home) I told her my color was āOKā, didnāt offer to fix it, said we could change it next time I came in. Iām about a week out from my service and canāt tell anything was done to my hair š¢. Still can see split ends and feels like it needs a hair cut. This didnāt happen with Jane. $130 and tip- I donāt feel the service was worth that since I now have to go somewhere else to get what I wanted completed.
