If you're looking for brand new games and systems and accessories they generally almost always have the brand new stuff. His prices are really fair. I mean also let's be honest You go to GameStop they'll give you four cents for a game that came out 3 days ago lol.
He has family members and friends that work for him. They're all knowledgeable on different aspects of electronics and video games. They also repair items. I can say how long it would take to fix something only because it all depends on what it is and if they have the parts to fix it.
The real area that this store excels in is classic/vintage games and systems. If you need a GameCube controller of a certain color they may have it. If you need a Dreamcast memory card they have it. If you're looking for a rare game and watch handheld they have those. If you're looking for final fantasy 7, resident evil, Sega Genesis systems, and everything in between they have that. Going into his store is the equivalent of when you were a kid you imagined having wall to wall games as far as I can see lol.
Okay I think I've talked long enough on this cell phone lol. It's definitely worth going...
Read moreHave traded with him a few times now, pretty nice and usually good at doing business, but the other day I went to trade in an old console for a 3ds XL, and he sold us one with a cracked hinge for a cheaper price. We agreed, because it was in our budget, but within 10 minutes of having it the hinge completely snapped and the device was in two pieces. We called him up and he told us to come back so we could work something out! We got the ultimatum of “pay $20 for another one, or wait two weeks for me to repair it.” Paying $20 would’ve been for the other console already offered, and we paid the difference. Def broke the budget we had planned, but didn’t wanna walk out empty handed. :( Later that day went back to see about getting my 3ds replaced with another one that was a little higher quality, maybe even loved a little less, and got turned away because it was a Japanese region unlocked model. pretty upset, ended up going to another business the next day and got the new 3ds, so it ended up okay, but pretty upset about my experience with video...
Read moreGreat place. I went out of my city to a video game store I frequent and they didn't have what I wanted. Then I remembered this place opened up right around the corner from my house. Stopped in and they had it, awesome. $10 let's go. Get home and pop it in my PS2 (NFS:U)...takes super long to load...maybe it's my system being old. Start playing and it starts freezing. Definitely not the system cuz others games are golden. Bring it back cuz he actually had 2 copies in and he swapped it out for me no problem. Game plays flawlessly now. Went back and bought 4 more games from him today. 👍 I'll be going back again for my next purchase. It's nice that an older (not old) gentleman owns and runs the store because it seems all the stores that have younger guys and gals working there just aren't as good attitude wise and with their customer service. This man is always nice and in a great mood it seems. I sincerely hope his store lives long and...
