I would most definitely NOT call this place "cozy" and "old fashioned"! It's run down and in serious need of renovations. The carpeting is particularly bad and some thing really nasty happens in one section when there is a lot of rain; the smell of mold/mildew is quite distinct. The women's room is in need of repair - has been for years. They did get some new seating at one point, but for the rise in ticket prices, they really need to get this place fixed up. There have been many times in the summers when AC fails and many instances of, shall I say, "technical difficulties" with the movies... although they have improved in that regard. On the positive side, their staff is always very pleasant and helpful and they do usually show a good selection of movies; not just always the big...

Overall, the staff is pretty friendly, albeit entirely made up of teenagers (it is a movie theater). Clean enough (again, movie theater). I love seeing movies on the big screen and this is my favorite place to go, locally. As for prices, matinees are cheapest. Prices are comparable to any other theater. They have the best combo deal as far as movie theaters go...the medium combo...bucket of popcorn with 2 medium fountain drinks, $6.50. And when I say medium, I actually mean medium. Not "medium", but really super-gigantic (I don't like getting up to use the restroom and missing part of an $11 show)... Perfect for catching a show...

The seats have been upgraded in recent years so all in all pretty comfortable with stadium seating so you can see, reclining seats so you can snooze through chick flicks, and cupholders so you won't spill your $10 Coke. Projection system is DLP with really good surround sound so image is impeccable. Ticket prices are reasonable with seniors getting in for just south of 9 bucks. Popcorn and candy use traditional rip off pricing as you would expect. The place can really fill up on rainy summer days but it's usually a graveyard in the winter. Give it a try. Tub of popcorn with buttery toping? That'll be...
