If I could give less stars I would. I was asked if I’d like to sign up for TJX Rewards, and stated my mother probably had one and I could just use her number. One of the ladies said that I could get 10% off my purchase if I signed up for my own account. Cool, I like discounts. What they failed to state outright is that it is a credit card, and only upon being asked to sign a form did I realize that it was a credit card they had pitched me, despite prior asking the question “does it go against you?” (I was asking if it was a metric like most rewards cards are , and which I had to clarify after the initial answer and found it was) they responded with “Your credit? No.” Which I see now was an outright lie and rather predatory (1. Not stating outright that it was a credit card, and 2. Stating that it did not go against one’s credit.) this is very much illegal under the Truth In Lending Act. I will be contacting the company’s higher ups and formally complaining about this very...

I love this store. I wish I could give it 5 starts because the employees are great. My issue is with corporate pushing the rewards card program. I explain every time Im there that I don't want it/ wouldn't qualify. The same people ask me every time because they have to. It's really gotten ridiculous that I constantly have to explain why I don't want it, to the point of limiting my trips there. This is NOT on the employees of this store who are wonderful. I'm sure they hate asking as much as every customer I know hates hearing it. Corporate should be ashamed. I just want to get my things and go. The employees should be given a raise for having to ask this stupid rewards card question...

I don't know if this is just my bad luck. When I was in there they lost power it came back on within like 20 seconds it took their computers 20 minutes to reboot I was literally walking to the checkout line when the power went out again and this time it was different it was out for good and they had to close the store they took my car and I wanted them to hold it I went back the next day and out of 150 stores in a strip mall them and CVS were the only two that were closed still seem very...
