Burger King — Restaurant in Dennis

Visited in the late evening 8/13. Woman working the drive through was extremely rude. At the speaker she was rude and interrupted me while i was giving her the info she asked for(name on the order). Order was not ready, even though i drove ten minutes and it was just premade cookies and soda. It took an additional five minutes at the pickup window. Handed me two large drinks and gave me a hard time when i asked for a drink tray. Then almost dropped the soda while hading it to me. Super unfriendly and rude even for burger king(pretty low bar, read the other reviews lol). Slammed the window shut at me in an aggressive way. I wanted her to check that everything was in my bag, and i had to open my car door slightly to be able to hand her back the bag. She acted like i was going to attack her, slammed the window on me again. I have no interest in attacking anybody, I understand protocol but she was being melodramatic about it and using it as another way to be rude. She makes taco bell employees seem polite. Basically if the dude with the goatee is not working the window, this place is a mess. You can avoid the whole situation by staying away from this and every Burger King because they’re all garbage, lol. I was not inside this place this time but most of the time when I go in this place it smells like a dirty toilet and I’m not...

I'm only giving 3 stars out of 5 because of an issue I had with their hours of operation.

So I went up to the main entrance and it was locked. Curious, I looked at the sign in the window, and it said that the dining room was open until 11. However, the doors were locked.

So I wound up getting food through the drive-thru. When I asked the cashier about why the dining room was locked already, he said that they close at 10. I said, "Why doesn't the sign in the window reflect the actual hours of operation?" He seemed to get rather weirded out about the question. And he says something like, "Well, we've always closed at 10 as long as I've been here." I was saying, "That's fine, but the signs in your windows should reflect that." He was still acting like it was strange that I was asking him about this, when it is strange to close earlier than what is posted. I didn't ask to speak to a manager because he seemed like one of the few people there.

So yeah, close early, close late, but the time you close should match the signs...

I overlooked the poor reviews due to the fact that most of them were from the last year during covid and I'm more than aware that people made more money on unemployment than they would working a low level fast food job. That being said, I knew it was going to take a long time to get our food and I was more than ok with the wait. After 25 minutes of waiting we got our food and I knew that 1 packet of maple syrup wouldn't be enough for my son's pancakes. I asked for a second packet and the older woman actually rolled her eyes at me. She didn't tell me to have a nice day or anything. If you don't want to work the job you have then quit! You're not doing anyone any favors by being grouchy to your patrons who are paying your...
