Save your money the caramel apples here are awful. There is no real layer of caramel beneath the toppings, the toppings taste expired and you can't taste the chocolate in the chocolate drizzle so I'm guessing it's cheap chocolate which is no surprise. Highly disappointing as I picked up 2 different apples that cost $30 dollars and neither were an indulgence. Rocky mountain chocolate factory doesn't give the customer what they pay for seemingly they are taking shortcuts to make money at the customer's expense by showcasing caramel apples that barely have enough of a coating and if made fresh why do you need to cover the apples in cling wrap? That is a red flag. Its a switch and bait shop. Take a look at the photos I've uploaded, you can judge for yourself.

The worst customer service I have ever had. Emma checked me out and was extremely rude. First of all she had an earphone in and was on the phone with her friend the entire time and when i went to check out, then she had a huge attitude when i almost pressed the wrong button on the keypad. She was extremely sassy when i said sorry and then acted as if she was going to take the chocolate away from me and not sell me it after i made the mistake. As i was leaving i heard her say something rude about me to her friend on the phone.

The staff were friendly and the chocolate looked great. Ordered an apple for myself and another as a gift. My apple was not fresh, but still semi-enjoyable because the caramel and mini M&Ms were fresh, or rather, not stale. I would try some chocolates next time. Perhaps tag the sticks to indicate when made?

I'll tell you I'm a huge gift giver! If I don't know what you like. It's possible to get 1 of everything I think you like. Needless to say, there was a nice lady behind the counter this day I hit her with an order of 1 of every candy apple in the display. No one was shopping at the time. However, before she could start she got swamped really quickly because she also sells coffee and is quicker than Starbucks lol. So I held back in the wings to allow her to service her customers. The customers knew I wasn't being petty and willing to let everyone get what we need. We are stuck in an airport waiting for flights, at home, or on layovers. The small joys go a LONG way. The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory's representative went out of her way to fulfill the order with the most gracious customer service. She handled her business and got to me and got me going with over 20 Apples, a few pounds of toffee and Chocolates as well as candies to give to the stewardesses who were having a stressful day and send their thanks as well from the United Flight Crew headed to Ontario, California. Thanks...

Hoped to buy a whole box of dark chocolate almond clusters as a gift for someone - may have been a $200.00 or more purchase at $28.95 per pound - clerk refuses to weigh out product first to get a quantity close to desired final purchase price - says it will have to be rung up and paid for first to get the weight. In other words, the final purchase price must remain a mystery until the purchase is final. Really?!?!? Maybe that explains why the price per pound was a secret too - until I asked and learned it was $28.95. None of the unit prices on anything are posted - why does everything have to be a state secret?!?!? Ridiculous! By the way, decided my friend will have to make do with Hershey Bars w/Almonds - no hide and seek on the price there - Google says they're 86 cents per bar at Target - perfect, will buy a whole carton for what a single cluster at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory likely charges - but again, who really knows what they charge - they won't weigh it and let u know - it's gotta be a huge secret until it's already paid for - bizarre AND...

Perfect place to get a snack to take on the plane - I frequently stop here when I had a meal several hours ago and am not super hungry, but also know I'm not going to get another meal until I land in 4-5 hours. The dark chocolate peanut butter cup is excellent, but what's become my go-to are the covered apples (because they're huge and I can rationalize I'm eating fruit ;-) ). All different type with chocolate, caramel, nuts and other toppings.

The best non-advertised part? They'll CUT it for you so you can have slices to eat on the plane or even share it out if you're with family (and yeah you get the core with the stick too, to ensure you get every little bit). Just make sure to grab extra napkins, but I gotta say a death by chocolate apple slice 3 hours into the flight is a perfect pick-me-up and gets me jealous stares from the other passengers eating their peanuts. (note: image is not mine, but shows the selection I have to decide on every...
