Easily one of the worst post offices in Denver - letter carrier refuses to deliver packages to my box correctly even though I've never met them and they have no reason to treat me this way. Once I start dealing with the people at the post office he works out of, I see why - I move out of my apartment but have to make sure my mail carrier doesn't lose my 6th package in the last year, so I go to the post office and file a mail hold days in advance of the package arriving. eBay tells me it's out for delivery on Saturday, which sends me into a panic because that isn't supposed to be happening. Go to the post office, they lie repeatedly about what is going on with my package, they refuse to understand that eBay tracking is fed from USPS website, try to tell me to my face that maybe the website I'm showing them was a scam, so I go to the USPS site right in front of them and the page says the same thing and the person at the counter still refuses to help or understand what she's being told - anything out of he ordinary causes these people to absolutely shut down and refuse to follow simple tracking posted on their own website. I ask for a manager because it's 30 minutes of waiting and ten minutes of arguing about why what I'm seeing is different from what she's seeing, and she goes back to find the manager, then comes back and says my mail is here somewhere but they have to find it, so for some reason it was scanned to be out for delivery at the very moment it is still not actually located by the post office who has my held mail in possession. Still waiting for the delivery now , after being lied to and misled by incompetent post office employees who have no interest in doing what they are supposed to or following info that they are providing to customers from their own website. If you're going to tell me I'm trying to use a scam website to pressure you into giving me my mail early, you do not know what you're talking about and shouldn't speak. The person I was dealing with wanted to act managerial and waste time "handling" the issue but just made it worse and held up a massive line behind me of almost ten people and had me waiting an hour in the lobby. Beyond unprofessional, and I'll be filing a complaint about this facility with USPS as soon as I actually...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. We visited the location to renew our children's passports based on the walk-in hours listed online (2:30 PM ā 3:30 PM). We took time off work and picked up our kids early from school to make it in timeāarriving even before 2:30 PM.
As we walked in, an older employee named Annette (spelling may be off) was assisting another customer and abruptly closed the passport window, taking that person to a different location. When we spoke to another staff member, we were told they only accept four walk-ins a day, and they were already fullāeven though we arrived during the posted hours.
We explained we made the effort to come based on the USPS website info, but were told to sit and wait for Annette. When she came out, she was extremely rude, raising her voice, saying she didnāt care about our situation, and told us it wasnāt her job, but that immigration had pushed the work onto her. She offered no help. She offered no help or guidance and continued to talk over us. Her tone and behavior were inappropriate, especially in front of our children.
Annette also mentioned the online hours are not set by the location and cannot be updated. We left without any support, feeling frustrated and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and courtesy.
Frankly, Annetteās attitude made it seem like she owned the place. Her loud and dismissive behavior in front of our children was unsettling. It felt as though she either has anger issues or no longer enjoys her role. Perhaps it's time to consider giving the opportunity to someone who is more patient, professional, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to get my passport. Appointment was at 130pm. The guy who was originally there went on lunch and another lady(clerk 6 is all I know. Didn't get her name.) took his place. She didn't take me into the passport room(how the previous post office worker did with the previous passport applicant), she instead asked me personal questions at the window and after took me in the room to take a picture of me. After she took the picture I asked if I can see it before it was printed(I was paying for it, so why not see if I liked how it came out or not). She totally ignored me. Hurried to the printer, took the memory card out, did what she did and printed the picture out. I didn't like the picture at all and was unhappy with it and I told her this various times(my hair was sticking out in some areas and my head was slightly slanted to a side. She probably took the picture when I was straightening my head and shoulders and getting in a good position for the photo). She said it looked good. That was that. I paid for the picture, I should be able to see it before its printed to see if I like it, and if I don't it should be retaken again, it only takes seconds to take another picture. Very rude and hostile lady and she should learn to be more respectful and courteous. Now I have this crazy looking picture of myself as my passport picture for the next 10...
