TBAAR — Restaurant in Denver

FIND ANOTHER BOBA PLACE - there are at least five more within two miles of here. The menu is fantastic.... but that's it. We left without purchasing anything and will not be back. It's our nearest boba spot and we loved it, but I'm simply stunned at the lack of customer care. Our little girl had eagerly awaited it and we had a school assessment today with the promise of stopping here on the way home. She's been waiting specifically for this spot for days. It's 100 degrees outside and we parked our bikes and came in, only to see that we are NOT ALLOWED TO SIT. There is even a foosball table in the middle of the dining area with cardboard taped over the goals. It's ridiculous. The place is air conditioned and lovely, it features tables throughout the space, but the chairs are stacked up like the foosball table. You're not getting out of there for under $15 for two drinks, but if they can't be troubled to let us sit down, that's simply ridiculous. We asked nicely - "I'm sure you can make an exception... it's so hot outside and there is no where else to sit. You have all these tables and chairs" - NO! You are only allowed to spend your money here and LEAVE. That's so gross. I mean, I understand not wanting to clean off a table, but then the price of the menu should reflect their plain refusal to provide dining space. They instead sent us back outside - me and my 7yo girl, to get back on our bikes in 100 degrees and find a different place that would allow us to sit inside. We used to love them. NOT GOING BACK AGAN!! ... we notice that OXZZI TEA HOUSE OFFERS BOARD GAMES AND CUTE CHAIRS - a wonderfully welcome environment less than one mile away to do such a thing as SIT DOWN for a moment to enjoy...

Worst boba tea I’ve ever had. My bf and I ordered two different kinds of tea - the flavor of mine was atrocious (truly can not describe) and the popping boba had the most disgusting texture and flavor. I threw my entire tea out in the garbage can INSIDE the tea shop. His also tasted gross & the cup was cracked and ended up spilling the entire drink by the time we made it to the car. The drinks were so bad we didn’t even request a replacement. We get boba from many different shops, frequently & would absolutely consider ourselves experienced boba drinkers. We also both experienced horrible stomach aches after drinking this tea (we hadn’t eaten or drank anything else before getting the tea) and concurred that the tea or boba was 100% rotten or moldy. have been coming here since their opening in 2018! We’ve basically grown up with the tbaar owner!!! she is so nice & ALWAYS remembers me even if i miss a few months!! always remembers all our conversations, i love her! Always checks in on me & my siblings. All these years and there’s never been a miss!

That aside Tbaar makes some of the best drinks of all the boba & milk tea shops! Refreshing, creamy, fruity, milky, whatever you’re looking for! They’ve got it! They even have fresh smoothie options. Every single one of their drinks is good, but we personally always get Amazing Lemonade, Herbal Jelly Aloe GMY & their mojitos!

REAL ones know they make the best Taiwanese style popcorn chicken. (Yes, with the basil leaves!) & their extra spicy is tasty!
