Save The Kitties — Local services in Derby

I do not recommend this place to adopt a cat. The care of these animals is not well, and they have no book keeping skills. I adopted a 8 week old that I was told to be in good health, and fixed, to bring him home to be a companion for my 14 year old cat. I brought him to the vet for his vaccines and was told that he is 16 weeks old, not fixed, and that he had an active URI, they told me he was all healed and that he was fine to be around my senior cat at the adoption center. I was told by them that it was accident and they thought he was healthy even though he clearly was not. He had liquid gooping in his eyes, and such a sore throat he could not eat, or swollow properly. They said they meant to fix him but didn’t get to it, and then I was told I should have taken them to their vet instead of mine, even though he was extremely sick. I was also told that there is other kittens in there care that currently have sickness. So they have active sickness in the animals, but did not think to reach out to those who just adopted kittens, and let them know that there new baby could be sick. I am extremely...

I have been trying for 3 months to find a no kill shelter that would care for a young Momma cat and her two babies that would not release them back out to be homeless again. Found Save the kitties and Carly has been an angel helping me trap them and get them in so they can get the care they need and they can find their forever inside home. I am sad to see them go after feeding them twice a day and watching over them to keep them safe. I know they are in great care and I love that I can come visit them. Praying for a very loving good Family who will be good to them and keep them safe. I would love for them to stay together if possible. 🙏🙏🙏💜 Thank you Carly and Save The Kitties for all you do. I adopted two kittens from the rescue and had the best experience. They can fully vaccinated, spayed and cared for, they were in the midst of worm treatment when I got them and I believe ir was Hannah who I spoke with that walked be through what to do to finish the treatment and they are now fully healthy and up to date on everything. I was weary to adopt from a rescue at first but she toured around the ENTIRE building and it exceeded my expectorations for cleanliness for an animal rescue.
