ALDI — Local services in Derry Township

I've been there twice now. I would say 40% of what I bought there wasn't any good. Some of their fruit should be thrown out instead of put on the shelf. I thought I was getting a deal on things like the pork barbecue shredded and the sliced brisket and the meatloaf that you get that's already made. That was the three worst dishes I bought there so far. I've had to throw almost a whole bag of potatoes out a half a bag of plums a whole bag of apples that were bad. And most of the bananas I got there you could eat about half of it and had to throw the rest away because they were brown. So check things over closer than I was doing I was just in a hurry and trying to get my groceries and get out of there. They did have some good stuff there though that I got in some good deals. They don't have much of a selection on sweet iced tea that's already chilled. They're frozen food selections not that great either. But it's a discount grocery store so you've got to look at that also. I have been another oldies that refresh fruits and vegetables are much fresher. Maybe it's just this particular one that's got an issue. I bought a bag of plums went through them and through half of them out the day I bought them they weren't even edible. Will I go back there to shop? Maybe or maybe I'll stick to Giant. Definitely not Walmart I don't recommend anybody go to Walmart anymore because all they do screw...

I wish they got more meats then prep frozen foods. Always the same stuff anymore. always have different frozen stuff in the freezers an of course the good home/essentials/decor/toys are always changing!! We love the stuff we find here at better prices then anywhere else for sure I would give it a 5 star if it was just about the shopping!!

Personally I think the lack of employees working the registers is a Lil unnecessary. It seems to always be one register one line open till it's backed up to the bathrooms/freezers an 1 employee will jump on a register for a few costumersan walk away with a large line yet... Why not stay and help ring the costumers out till things slow down?

I tell people all the time to go to aldis, that's where I got that thing you like lol! Most responses are... " I won't shop thier cuz they only ever have one line open and it's just ridiculous when two other employees are throwing boxes around or rushing back to the office or they throw your grocies in your cart like things can't smash or bust open"

I think if they kept two registers open during store hours atleast during rush hour times. ..lots more people would agree and wouldn't have a problem...

The cashiers here are TERRIBLE and I mean TERRIBLE.. I go here about 30 times a WEEK cause I do instacart and I’m constantly having orders to shop for at Aldis. Everyone stalking is always so nice and helpful when I need help finding an item however the cashiers are so Rude caring for the customers food/items. Everything gets THROWN in the cart and I’m extremely rushed. Last week my raspberries were thrown in the cart and then frozen food was thrown on top of it.. before I was even able to push my cart away all the raspberries fell on the floor through the cart because of everything being thrown in my cart carelessly! I was told to put my card in the card reader before she even got done scanning half of my items and I was still taking items out of my cart. I get your faster because you don’t have to take the time to bag the items we do, but I would appreciate a little more respect towards the items being cared for...
