GIANT — Local services in Derry Township

I appreciate the selection and the gas points program. I am a very frugal person and always check my receipts. 9 times out of ten I need to go to the service desk to get something corrected. Usually ( except for a few exceptions) the service desk person has been kind and cheerfully makes right what their system did wrong. Today I was in there and it seemed to be all new people. I asked about one deal that was supposed to be bonus gas points and she informed me (in an unfriendly tone)that the sale was only a couple days and it was over. I then said I probably didn't really need the items(I thought they were overpriced). She had a bad attitude about it so I told her never mind . . . I would just take them. When I got home and looked more carefully at my receipt I noticed that I was charged an additional 1.00 on each of the six items. Furthermore I got charged an extra 4.59 for an item that was buy one get one free. It turns out that it was stocked improperly or someone misplaced it. I called the store and described the discrepancies and was met with an unfriendly and accusatory attitude. Also she continually told me that they credited a dollar on one of the items and to look on my receipt. It was not there and I told her several times that she must be thinking of another customer. She continued to insist it was me. . . It hadn't even been noticed until I got home and how did she even know which customer was on the phone?? It ended with "bring your receipt back so someone there can show me". It's not there. I overpaid by close to 11.00 and I live about 25 minutes from the store. I don't mind getting something fixed the next time I go in. What I do mind is the attitude. I sure miss the good old days. *Update: I have not noticed any of the employees that were rude to me at this store for a long time and my experience has been much better. Apparently they did not last . . . I'm thankful for that. So I would upgrade my rating...

I have been using Giant for the last 4 months all together instead of Walmart. I live in an apartment building of 20 apartments in five of them have already told me not to shop there because they ripped you off constantly. This past week I went in store use my giant card and still didn't get the sale prices. So I did a order on the app for pickup and when I get home I noticed that they overcharged me for my hamburger for $6.50. I submitted a claim the next morning because that day I could not get in the app I keep getting error messages for their department. This evening I get a new voice from them showing that they aren't doing a darn thing about it. So I would say this week alone I've been ripped off for about $10. If you want to throw your money away instead of going to Giant Just replied to this and I will send you my address you can come over and give me your money. I would say in the time that I've been going strictly to Giant I've been ripped off for about $28 so far. I just got done deleting my account and I'm going to go to Weis market and back to Walmart. Beware you'll throw your money away at Giant especially this one here. They're crooks and...

This is my GO-TO Giant store... Im not gonna mince words there are TWO Giants in this town and one is NOTHING like the other!!! This one is CLEAN, and has wonderful workers who HELP there customers with their experience and the other isnt that AT ALL!!😍😍 Update on 1/09/23: I was appalled by my cashier tbh, I had two carts of groceries today as I shopped for 3wks and she acted as if I had been such a bother for her.. The manager was standing within 10ft of her and the cashier's attitude towards me was absolutely ridiculous 🙄 to say the least she acted as if it was a true inconvenience for her to ring out someone that had TWO carts.. and as I Bern going thru substantial hardship these past few months had to use my EBT for my purchase she looked over at her manager and gave her a smirk.. To say that I felt judged by them both was a huge understatement!!! I love this store and the cleanliness of the store and its always been my favorite place to go but today's incident shows me the way you are treated when you are faced with hardships and people can judge you without even knowing the situation you have been put in.. Made me want to shop...
