Weis Markets — Local services in Derry Township

I tried to call the mentioned number but apparently, there is a long waiting list. Whomever answered this review is another "pass the buck" employee. Why doesn't that person take care of the problem? BTW, nice canned response.

I agree with the other 2-star review. This store is as or more expensive than some city stores. Management is awful, lines are consistently long in the afternoon when most people are through work. Like the 2 other stores in this ghost town, the selection is abysmal A whole aisle for junkie cereal and junkie snack food and 1/2 aisle for vegetables. Checkers are always begging for MORE money to "donate". Maybe if their prices were lower, they wouldn't have to. Why doesn't Weis donate? It is very harassing. Checkout is slow because each item of produce has to be rung up separately.I cringe every time I have to grocery shop here.

As expensive as Weis is, they are constantly out of regular products. Like Perdue chicken. I had to get the Weis brand,, which is gristly. I also have gotten fruit that look fine at the store and ate it the same day and part of it was rotten. I cannot wait to move back to...

Usually I like going here for the sales and I don't go too often because it's a 40 mile round trip for me. I went this morning and wasn't impressed at all by the workers there this morning. They kept following my daughter and I around the store the whole time we were there. Had 2 people come ask if we needed help finding anything special. After being told no we were there just looking at the sales they had for the week and if anything was new in the store because we don't go often. Still had workers following us through the store the whole time we were there.It was my daughter first time there. Her age is 24years so a adult. So I would say if you go u better go in and out for stuff and not look because you will be stocked and watched the whole time you are there. I would rather take my money and families money to the Geto Giant because at least I'm not treated like a convict there. So for me to Burnham from Mcveytown to be treated like that is...

I always enjoyed shopping here over the years. Nice to see they did some remodeling on the place a few years ago as well. I was also surprised to see that they sell alcohol in the store, as I know they worked really hard to get through a bunch of hurdles in order to do it.

Very friendly employees all across the board there too. Even though some of their departments aren't all that big, they know how to make the best use of what they've got. And for that, they should be commended.
