Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Derry

We have gotten some seriously fantastic, quality deals here. Check their flyer, either if you get it in the mail or if you don't, check on-line.

We took a walk-thru when they first opened... couple hundred bucks later... no seriously- if you need something, check them first. They have such an array of things @ awesome $$; there's no way you will walk out of there w/o SOMETHING.

I'm not going to say what I go in for bc it's like my little secret, (though I'm sure so many ppl know about this gem) - but still... I don't tell anyone because the deal is THAT GOOD & I hate going in to get some & they are completely out.

I will say this - it's for my dog. The product I get, the size of each selection, the fact that I can hand-pick what I'm buying & the extremely low $ for them is amazing. Any other place - Walmart, Pet Stores - you would NOT get any of that (size, can't hand pick, there's like 10 tiny ones in a bag) & it would cost you 3x as much, if not more.

So personally, I happen to love this store because you can always find what you need & the $$'s are unbeatable.

Staff is always friendly and helpful here. Sometimes there's a bit of a line but they always scramble to make sure they don't keep you waiting any longer than necessary. Great selection of random, inexpensive snack foods, drinks, and candy!! Very reasonable prices on everything, you never know what you might find. This time I got a big bottle of shampoo for $7, a pair of over glasses sunglasses for $5, and a bunch of energy drinks for $.89 each! You may not find the same items every time you come in, but there's something in here for everyone. Car stuff, cleaning supplies, toiletries, clothes, garden/yard supplies, kids toys, dog treats, everything! Only downside is the store ALWAYS looks closed because of the tint on their front doors, and some areas of the store are a little disorganized and dark....

DERRY, NH LOCATION: I PURCHASED ACCESSORIES TOTALLING $200. THE ITEMS WERE BREAKABLE ITEMS AND NEEDED TISSUE PAPER. THE CASHIER DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM W/ WRAPPING W/ CARE. THE SVC DESK SUPERVISOR APPROACHED THE CASHIER DURING MY TRANSACTION TELLING CASHIER TO USE ONE PIECE OF TISSUE PAPER PER BREAKABLE ITEM. THE CASHIER STARTED TO REMOVE MY ITEMS FROM MY BAGS, REWRAPPING MY ITEMS, AND LEAVING ONE TISSUE PAPER PER ITEM. AFTER I PURCHASED AND DISCUSSING W/ MY FAMILY, I DECIDED TO RETURN THE ITEMS FOR MY $200. I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE TISSUE PAPER IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY $200. AND A HAPPY CUSTOMER. I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN BACK TO ANOTHER OCEAN STATE JOB LOT, I DON'T CARE WHAT KIND OF SALES. I REFUSE TO HELP KEEP IGNORANT...
