Yesterday I went to this Burger King and ordered I believe two number six's. They were the chicken sandwiches with onion rings instead of fries. The speaker box wasn't exactly working, probably on both sides because the person trying to take my order couldn't hear me and I could not hear her. Finally when she got my order correct, (through no fault of hers I'm sure. Burger King makes enough money to replace malfunctioning machines, but like all fast food restaurants they don't) I drove up to the second window. The girl in the window seemed like she was a new employee being rushed by a manager? I think, she had no idea what food she was passing out, and rather confused when I asked her which one was the diet coke. The "manager" confirmed which one it was for her. I was then told to pull around the building to the front door the chicken was going to take 2-3 minutes. I like that, fresh food so it was no biggie. Any way about 3 minutes later the "manager" brought my food out, the bag was crumpled at the top with a half -assed attempted to neatly fold the bag. When the opened the bag it looked like a four year old had just thrown my food in. It didn't look like any attempt to organize the bag was done. The two medium onion rings were spilled out all over the bag, dousing my napkins in oil. Nice. Any way, I was running late or else I would have gone inside and asked them who thought that this was a bag that should be handed out to a customer? Read moreLet me start by saying I came through the drive through on the 4th of July 2025 and there was a young man working who was rude, actually told me to stop ordering and started laughing because he said I’m the only one here. I ordered 3 meals. He had no customer service and I swore up and down I WOULD NEVER SPEND MONEY HERE AGAIN. EVER. I told this man he need to get some customer service skills and find a more suitable job for himself.
Fast forward, a couple weeks ago my kids wanted to go to the play area and I was like absolutely not but I gave in and actually really so happy I did. They definitely made up for it and more. Donna is the GM and she is a saint. I expressed my concerns about the 4th of July and she was unaware. Her employees Ray and Alana were beyond great workers. Food was out fast and great service. I told them thank you and the morning crew definitely changed my mind. BUT THEN WAIT! user error On the dang app I messed something up and instead of being irritated or telling me they couldn’t help, I went inside and RAY the morning manager took care of EVERYTHING and said sorry to me! When it was my fault. Night crew needs some work but you guys got the dream team in the mornings. Read moreThis location tanked hard during the pandemic and the bar didn't start out that high to begin with. Stopped going for almost a year despite living very near. But we'd visited another location on the road in Maine recently and it it was so good it kind of renewed my faith in BK a bit and thought, maybe I give this location another chance. Maybe it's better, or not as bad as I remember.
Good lord it's worse. Ordered two very basic, nearly identical meals plus some cookies. The sandwiches were what we ordered but literally everything else was screwed up. Didn't have any of the drinks in stock. Fries inexplicably replaced with onion rings. Instead of 4 cookies, there was only one. You don't even sell them singly! Like, basic reading comprehension stuff.
Had to park and go inside to have it fixed, which they did, after explaining everything very slowly. The person helping me, who was the one who handed me the bag in the first place, very obviously hates their job and probably isn't paid enough for even the minimal service rendered.
The franchise owner very clearly gave up on the place being respectfully run years ago and turned to being a fast food slum lord, doing and paying the absolute minimum. It's a shame since BK is my guilty pleasure and either l would go more if they were even halfway decent but even that looks like an impossible...
