Yesterday 2/20/21 (Saturday) I went to the Panera located in Derry, NH. My order number was 1347920, according to my reprinted receipt. I went through the drivethru and placed my order after 6:00 p.m. The person taking the order stated after I have ordered my four-cheese flatbread pizza “You’re all set”. I was wondering why she only stated that since the order screen didn’t show what I owed or what I had just ordered. That seemed out of the ordinary so I looked at my vehicle clock and it showed 6:01 p.m. The other issue was that the person taking the order didn’t ask for my Panera rewards card. That was also out of the ordinary. I then proceeded to the payment window and paid for my food. After payment, I noticed that the cashier didn’t give me a receipt not ask me if I wanted one. I then asked for my receipt and he reprinted it showing a time of 6:06 p.m. This time on the receipt matched my vehicle clock. This also seemed weird because I know that I placed the order at 6:01 p.m. That was five minutes earlier. I know that I was in the drivethru waiting to pay for that period from 6:01 p.m. to 6:06 p.m. The cashier then told me to go to that other side and wait for my food. At this point I was not happy at all with my experience. I then drove around to slot #3 and waited there until 6:15 p.m. to receive my food. I could see utter confusion on the faces of the Panera employees bring food out to the other folks waiting to receive their food. There were five cars waiting to receive food. The employee who bought my food out first went to the wrong car and I had to ask him if it was the “four-cheese pizza” for him come back to my car after he made the mistake to give me my food. This was not a good experience at all. It seems like it was a circus in this store. In total, I spent 14 minutes to get one flatbread pizza at this location. This is unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. I have been to the Panera located in Salem, NH and Concord, NH during dinner hours and they seem to be very efficient. Read moreSince the pandemic I feel like this location has really gone downhill. I've ordered several times through the drive-thru and my order has been wrong every single time.
The first instance I remember is I ordered the goddess salad and I kid you not the tiny dressing container was only 1/3 full and definitely would not have covered a fraction of the salad. I drove back through and got more dressing so I could at least enjoy the salad.
The next two times I ordered breakfast and both times my order was wrong. The first time I ordered a caramel latte with whipped cream and caramel topping and got a latte without the whipped cream or topping. I also ordered the artichoke souffle and got a bacon one.
The next breakfast order I asked for mayonnaise on my breakfast sandwich. At the window knowing this place I asked for a side of mayonnaise knowing they probably didn't put it on. The girl at the window said oh no it's on the sandwich so considering the long line I didn't insist on a side of mayonnaise. Well you can guess there was no mayonnaise on my sandwich. They have changed their breakfast sandwiches to have a foamy scrambled egg patty instead of the fried egg they used to. So they need mayo in my opinion because they are a bit on the dry side. Read moreI ordered 2 drinks online for curbside pick up. I've never had any issues with Panera Bread in the past until today. I parked outside Panera, said I was there, and waited 25 MINUTES. No one ever came to my car. I watched all the cars around me receive their orders. I went inside, the girl at the register was so confused. I said I've been waiting for 30 MINUTES and it said my order is ready. She was like, oh these 2 drinks have just been sitting here...I was like WHAT?! And, to top it off, they added a lemonade on that I never ordered...I said I don't want that, she said want a cookie to make up the difference? I showed her grace and said yes. My husband wasn't happy...I just wanted to treat him to a drink. They got my Chai tea latte right, but my husband's drink was completely wrong. It tasted disgusting...being honest.
