My experience was decent, at best. I was really excited to find a Detroit stylist as I have had a hard time finding someone in Detroit to style my locs. Finally found someone, read the booing page throughly and made my appointment. I was extremely disappointed to find out (day of appointment) that if I wanted curls I was suppose to comment that when booking. I didn’t see that stated anywhere that you had to write what style you want in the comments. I was so disappointed because this was my birthday weekend and I had planned to have these curls for the girls! I had to end up getting plaits…which made me just cancel my birthday plans. The stylist wasn’t that friendly. She said a few words to me but it was just things like “you can go to the wash bowl.” Simple directions more than a conversation. I’m not a huge talker but I’m used to people at least asking how long has your hair been loc’ed? What do you do for a living? How’s your day? Simple things like that. She did do a good job of washing and detoxing my hair but the overall experience...

Let me tell you about my experience, I 1st started of texting about booking an appointment, I was polite but when I say I had a million questions I had a million. And he took the time to answer them all schedule me and even gave KNOWLEDGE of my hair.. I have been his client since September 2024, I get hella compliments and my coworkers say whatever he doing to your hair your flourishing..

I recommend him to any and everyone… I will be keeping my spot in his chair for as long as his hands are still in business…
