The food is good but my experience today was HORRENDOUS. We ordered ahead and paid over the phone. When I get there, the young lady at the front with locs told me she didn't have an order in the name given and we probably called the wrong location. I go back to the car to check my fiancƩ's phone and we indeed called the correct location. I go back in to tell her we indeed called the livernois location because we checked maps and the site. She wanted me to give her the number. I let her know we double checked and the phone used was in the car. She insisted MULTIPLE times that I give her the number. I instead asked her to check for my order. She insisted she was the only person there and she didn't take that order. I told her what we had and she shrugged off what I was asking her. She replied, "I can put your order in, but we don't have that order. " I then told her we already paid for it. All of a sudden, she turns around and hands me my order. She then tells me that she just got in and there was someone there before her. On top of all of this, my order was missing an entire meal, meaning that it wasn't checked before it was bagged and tied. I had to wait for it to be prepared, making me late for work. The worst experience unnecessarily.
Edit: on top of all of this, THERE IS NO CHICKEN IN MY CHICKEN FRIED RICE. 2 OUT OF 3 ORDERS.
Second edit: And the food is terrible! It tastes like the poured ginger all over our food. It has never tasted like this before.

Before receiving my food I asked several times to make sure it was no onions. When I paid I asked again, and finally when I received my food I checked the receipt and ask an additional time. I open my food and see onions. I talk to the manager on staff and as she go through my food with a fork and find two additional onions, she says thereās only a couple onions and her cashier laughs. I ask them to either remake my food or give me a refund. She tells me they donāt give refunds, even though that wasnāt stated when I paid. I asked her multiple times to remake my food because it was not made correctly, she refuses to remake my food. How can you refuse to remake my food after you the manager, the cashier and me, had our face in my food with a fork. she gives me the store manager Krystle number. I call her explain the situation and ask for a refund. The store manager offers for me to comeback tomorrow and she will remake it. I explained I donāt live in the area and that I asked the manager on duty several times to remake my order and she didnāt. And I should be allowed a refund. She refused. The food was paid for over the phone, so they should have had a separate line for customers that already paid versus those that hadn't/hadn't ordered, but they didn't. Upon arrival, my food hadn't even began to be cooked, so I was told an additional 20 mins. I waited 25 before going back in. I go back in & end up waiting another close to 30 mins before my food is finally being bagged up. The bagger realizes I'm missing something with my order, so I think they may have taken it from somebody else's order just to finally get me going. At that point I was upset & didn't even care. The cashier was more than nice & offered me 2 drinks for the hour-long store wait (90 mins total). I leave the restaurant & get home & the food wasn't anywhere near up to par. I got 2 orders of the hibachi steak with white rice. The steak was bland & the rice was either old or over/undercooked. It was clumped together. I didn't try the shrimp fried rice, but my mom didn't like it. So $70.00 was spent & the whole experience was TERRIBLE!!!! I honestly doubt that I would ever go to the Livernois location again.
