In these times of COVID, it has been super stressful as a maid of honor to find places/venues that will allow a group of 14 to congregate in the same space. Luckily, I came across a COVID review for Delmarva and almost cried when corresponding with Janis stating she would be happy to accommodate our party. Max persons is 14 but we had a party of 10. They'll still do a party of 6, but they will charge for a 7th person as that is their policy.

Our tour guide emailed me a few days before introducing himself and informing me of our itinerary. The day of the excursion, he called my cell to announce his arrival and kicked us off with presenting the bride with a special care package and taking photos. He was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire experience and was so personable.

I had chosen to visit a winery, distillery and a novelty shop (because, hey, it's a bachelorette party.) Every stop adhered to COVID guidelines and protocols. Each stop had accommodating staff and were ready for our arrival.

If you're looking for a very special, unique experience - the 'Ultimate Farm Tour' organized by Janis at Delmarva Discovery Tours - we can't stop talking about it. This was a bucket list item I never thought I'd fulfill but on an incredibly beautiful Fall day my husband and I had the privilege of visiting a local farm worked by a 4th generation farmer, Jay Baxter. We, along with two other guests, got to each experience a ride along with Jay on his combine and with his helper Jake in the equipment that rides beside the combine to collect the corn. We learned so much from both of these hard-workers and came away better for the experience. As we waited our turn, Janis set up wonderful refreshments as we talked with other family members about the rich heritage of this farm and the pride they have in family and hard work. Such a fun day! We were celebrating my daughter’s bachelorette party. The tour experience started off with a goodie bag full of wedding themed swag and keepsakes! My daughter is getting married at Disney World, and Delmarva Tours really made it very personal for her with snacks presented in a Mickey “ears” bowl, as well as other thoughtful touches in a lovely gift bag. It was obvious an effort was made to make this very personal for the bride! Another huge aspect of the experience was our tour guide, George. George reached out before the tour as well as the morning of to make sure everything was running smoothly. He (along with Mike, a trainee) were waiting for us at exactly the appointed time. They both went out of their way to make our group feel comfortable and my daughter, and our group, were able to celebrate just how we wanted. George was always ready to assist with photo opportunities, getting us settled in at each of the venues we visited, keeping our group on track with timing, and just so helpful.
