I went there yesterday for the first time, it is a cute coffee shop with a lot of local products. The latte with oat milk is pretty good and French press is fine. HoweverïŒI took off 2 stars for the management. Here is the reason why:
Firstly, there were total 5 people at that time including 3 of us, but the other 2 individuals were talking/laughing so loud as no one there, it was so disturbing that I have to leave earlier and couldnât even enjoy my coffee relaxing and quietly. I just wish there was a sign to sayâ Be courtesy for others, keep your voice downâ . Secondly, there is 15% service charges for all drinks-âto better pay our employees â In my opinion as a business owner, better paying employees is the duty of employer/owner who could raise the menu price, and leave service fee to customers based on the service they received. It feels a bit forceful for customers. Hope we can go back next time to enjoy the coffee in a better atmosphere.
Response to owner: I just suggested to put on a sign to reminder everyone to have mutual respect to other customers to keep the voice down at all time no matter what the âdaily vibeâ is. Is that too hard to do as a cafe? Also as a customer, I donât feel that you care about this issue and our feeling by being disturbed, I canât sense your sincerity in...
Read moreWhile I was there, they cross contaminated drinks. Don't reccomend here if you have an allergy until this is fixed. They're also more expensive than other similar shops. This was my second time here and I was pretty disappointed. (I really enjoyed it my first time and hoped for the same experience this time) I dropped in on a Sunday morning, there was definitely people around, but no one in line. They took my order and I stood to the side for 10 minutes to get 2 cups of coffee. Others waited that long after me just to order. There were 2 girls, but only one was up front making drinks. The 1 star review is cause she didn't wipe off the milk frother between drinks!!! I ordered a whole milk and oat milk latte and she never wiped down the frother before either drink was made and not in between. Thank god the oat milk latte wasn't for someone with an allergy, but that is highly inappropriate and not clean and I was very disappointed to watch it happen. There's reasonable contamination of drinks expected in a public place, but if I order an oat milk latte, I should be able to expect to have an cleaned milk frother and not deliberate cross contamination. I hope this is fixed! Also, they charge you a 15% service fee and the sign about it...
Read moreI order from here whenever I can, so easy off of Route 15 or in the Dillsburg area. Also, my business often orders catering from them because it is easy to provide something delicious that each of our committee members or event attendees can eat, even with everyoneâs different dietary and nutritional needs. They make it so easy to order delicious, gluten free, and high quality food. My favorites are the scones, cookies, both sandwiches, and for breakfast the waffle and baked oatmeal. As far as drinks, I really like the Curious George smoothy, any coffee drink, and the on tap UnDone kombucha! Love the little shop inside for gifting and stocking my own gluten free and paleo pantry. Oh, and how could I forget their snacking granola! Summer Vibes is my favorite. Iâm so grateful to have this level of cafe nearby. When I suddenly had to start eating gluten free and paleo for health reasons, this place made sure that my life was still sweet and not boring! It might look expensive but they actually pay staff well and donât ask for a tip from customers because of that! Also, you get the quality of food that you pay...
