I hate posting negative reviews, but unless you already live in Dorado, this venue simply isn’t worth the drive.
This venue is merely a large tent set up inside a shopping center’s parking lot. That’s it. The sound is TERRIBLE unless you’re listening to electronic music. The heat is almost unbearable. If you pay for general entrance, be prepared to use a portable restroom with NO running water to wash your hands upon exiting (their “sinks” didn’t work despite ferociously pumping them with our feet). Their VIP bathroom was overflowing and the guests then had to turn to the general portable toilets to relieve themselves.
Also, this venue is divided several sections (some are very small, so beware of that). It was taking some guests longer to order a beer in the VIP bar compared to the general admission bar.
If this place has any intention of being permanent, here’s what I would recommend: Improve the sound system. Install proper bathrooms and sinks. Install some ceiling fan underneath the large tent, to help with the ventilation. Set up some ice-filled stands selling beer throughout the venue- a lot of people wanted to order a beer but had to stand in line half an hour behind guests ordering an array of mixed drinks. This makes the lines longer when you can have a simple beer stand that’ll solve that problem. Create outside pathways that connect to the bars, so that your employees can transport ice and merchandise. It was very annoying (and can end up injuring someone) to have a supermarket carts full of stuff ramming between the crowds trying to get the ice/supplies to the bar. Incredibly, the carts were running through the crowds every ten minutes. There’s gotta be a better way to do this! 🤦🏼‍♀️
As a born and raised local, I’ll terribly miss venues like Vivo Beach Club because this simply isn’t it. It can keep its Dorado residents as customers, but we won’t be making the drive to this place again....
Read moreNew spot in Dorado, just opened. Opening night was an epic edm DJ show with Fisher. Great vibe. Great energy. Needed a place like this in Dorado. Has an indoor/ outdoor construct. Serves food and alcohol. Weird setup/ layout for VIP area and for the VIP Tables w/ bottle service- making it difficult to see lasers/ light show, is away from the speakers/bass, and a little challenging to be able to view the DJ. Also a little crowded in those areas due to allowing vip ticket holders to enter the bottle service areas. Feel like those issues are easy fixes and easily addressed. But overall, AMAZING to have a venue like this in Dorado, the concept itself is excellent. Opening night was...
